Jamans Hermonie Urameshi Why is it no one believes me when I get this from a native living in Oosaka? stare Well, there's many many different dialects in Japan. From a textbook you learn Tokyo Japanese, which, from I hear is VERY different from Osaka Japanese. Most of the comedians in Japan come from Osaka, and at least their way of speaking is almost uncomprehensible to me xd All of my Japanese friends come from Himeji, and they add "ne" to the end of almost every sentence. So, the language varies.
I guess it makes sense.
