Synthetic.Butterfly
I have only seen this phenomina once in my life. When I was ten living in Alabama. We had a massive storm gathering and a ball of light floated right outside our house. I zipped into the house melting the glass and put a gaping hole right through our television. It hit one of our cats but the cat was unharmed. This ball ligning also ran off with our silverware (It was dinnertime).

Thats amazing. But I find it hard to believe it actually happed to you. Its rare for someone to get hit by lightning, let alone a lightning ball. Is it possible you could upload pictures?
