"Good evening, Miss Lindalle. I am Elizabeth Wentworth. I've come for the fine arts cirriculum."
Ella Wentworth was tan and ruffled; she smelled of London smog. The top button of her starchy white blouse had been lost somewhere along the way. It seemed the only things untouched by the harsh bustle of london were here eyes, which panned across the room in such a way one might think she was putting it to memory on the spot. Her mind more active than the constrained movements of her bustled body.
"I apologize for arriving late."
But she did not offer to leave and let the woman finish her dinner. She was here now, and there was simply no use for such backwards politeness.

Standing up, Simone grabbed a textbook off the shelf.
"Miss Wentworth, I must confess that you've come at an awkward time, but no less, please take a seat. Before you get started, let me lay some ground rules. You may not let the boys or girls perform in the same fripperies that I've seen in London. Positively revolting. Secondly, they are to merely study the fine arts. If they paint, let them paint. If they sing, let them sing, but do not allow them to take over their studies.
Is this understood?"
She hardly waited for an answer as she gave the book to the teacher in front of her.
"You are to follow what has been set forth as per these guidelines. No more, no less. And remember, these children are here to study science more than Shakespeare."
((And a mod note - darling, please don't move time ahead. That's the mods' job.))

Noting all of this, the Headmistress opened her mouth one last time "I'm sorry, but I need to open up the school ball, and I rather need to get ready. If you will excuse me."
A dry hacking cough, the Headmistress ushering the teacher out of her office, locking the room up.
From there, she headed to her quarters.
