Every year we seem to have this business on the news about the Japanese and Norweigans trying to get votes so they can hunt whales, and Australia is trying to get votes to stop them. The trouble is that we must really be confusing the whales - they cruise past Australia and everyone comes to see them, and the whales think 'those were nice creatures, I hope I meet some more... Oh look, there's another boat, I wonder what that funny looking thing is they are pointing at me - Argh!'
Perhaps what we should do, is when the whales come past Australia, we be mean to them and scare them, so that they will learn to stay away from people.
