Okay, now that THAT's settled...
You are here because you are new to the guild. This is a sort of interviewing place. We just want a few posts from you, and then we'll see if you are fit to be in this guild.
For the time being, you may post in all of our OOC threads barring the exceptions at the end of the list. And honestly, if you have questions, ask. We're not horrible ogres.
All you have to do is this: Read the stickies, then start a thread for your application.
Each sticky has its own requirements... don't worry, we don't have a huge list. Just a couple of things.
If you don't want to end up like all the other people that we had to send out... then please use proper grammar, literacy, and at least semi- agreeable spelling. If you have a problem where you can't spell/your grammar is a bit off, notify us. We have a few of these people already, and it helps to know there's a reason behind it.
Before you post exclaim :
Before you make any post at all, read the stickies!! I'm sorry if you don't like reading, but that's pretty much required for any roleplay. We want to make sure that you have a gist for the background of the University and the era it's taking place in.
Friend the guild mule to get updates! His name is UniversityMule, and he's a really sweet boy.
After reading these posts, start a new thread in the Kiddie Pool with the the subject "Application:" and your character name (if you see V's, those are checks that let us know your application has been accepted. If you cheat, we'll know, so don't try). From here, we'll go through with you on an individual basis, and ask for roleplaying samples.
This is also the point where we'll critique your character. We'll keep it constructive. We promise!
If you've been approved (proven by what your thread says at the top!), keep reading.
From here, you get to post your first IC post. Most have posted in their rooms, but you can post wherever, in fact, since we have established the fact that there are NPC students, you can create a formerly NPC student and make them a PC.
Then, you are allowed into every thread and sticky outside the Modliness subforum...because that's just for the mods. razz
Remember to read the Daily Announcements, as they tell you the information for the day/ when the new day starts. Also read new announcements, and please participate in our events! In the few contests we've had, almost nobody participated. They're here for you!
