ActingSpirit My rant. . . I took about 2 years off of college (okay one year and one year I just zoned and skipped class) So now that I'm back in school I'm "old" I'm 23.9 years old- not that old, but I get SOoooo much flack about how I'm 2 years older than everyone. I have a FEW grey hairs (like maybe a dozen) but everyone calls me a grey headed old lady. I can't wait till all of them hit their junior years and get their wake up calls. Thats right about the time I'll be graduating and I can just sit back and laugh. 24 IS NOT OLD YA'LL!! that is.... (forgive me for saying this) "gay" i mean at my local collage its not that uncommon of an age... most are about 23-27, and then you get thoes people in their 40s 50s 60s and even 70s people are dumbasses, education happens at any time

That was the case at my previous schools- but I just moved to rural arkansas and things are different here. I SHOULD be married with a kid by now according to these folks. Sigh. oh well. Yay for living in a dorm with a bunch of screaming freshman ( wait - its summer NO FRESHMAN!! **dances**)

That must be really hard! I'm 27 and at university, but at my uni it's quite common to be a mature age student, I think our average age is 33?

I_Love_The_Bunny i figured maybe this could be where people vent about anything they wanted ::shrugz:: i know there is a thread going about how people feel old on gaia, i for a while wasnt feeling old today till i saw a thread with a crude title, and sadly enough the title wasnt the problem.... it was a 12 year old boy that was..... but thats not my venting for the day, my venting is seeing how sexually active these kids are, i mean more than likely a lot are vergins but nevertheless at their age i didnt know 1/2 as much as they know. the saying is so true, ignorance is bliss yeah i lost my V at 14.. but i was sorta raped.. but after that happened i had sex with like 3 other ppl that month just thinking since it was already gone why should i wait?

Okay my rant for the day is basically just wondering why the heck the grocery store where I'm working (until Friday) at has to keep the mentally challenged "kid"! I mean he talks to himself, doesn't do what customers tell him, and he drives me insane! For example, today he asked to borrow my half roll of paper towels so he could clean the conveyor belts. I agreed, the only condition I gave him is that I wanted my paper towels back when he was done. Oh, I got it back alright...that is if you consider straggles of paper towels clinging to the roll having my paper towels back! scream That was not what I meant and he knew it! (I think anyway!) sweatdrop Okay, I feel better. The only other rant I have is minor; I was told that on my anniversary for working up there I'd get $US 50 for my first year (and only year) anniversary. Well, it came on a Saturday, so I didn't get my money and now they don't know if they'll get around to it before I leave Friday or not. sweatdrop Oh well, life's tough some times I guess.

My vent for the evening... I went to my kid brother and sister's middle schoole graduation today. And holy hell at what over half the girls were wearing!! Skimpy outfits that belong on 20 something year olds. I've always been a tomboy, always will be, but when I was in middle school no one dressed like that. They all looked their age. Grr..I just want to slap todays younger teenagers. Really. really. Hard. And them with their cell phones! Who do you have to talk to at 14/15 year olds on a constant basis to need a cell phone? They're not that important yet nor do they look so amazingly cool. They look downright stupid.
