I can remember going to Ottowa for a trip, and we went to visit parliment, too. And there was this dumb guy with all these signs saying that marriage is a union between a man and a woman. (BS!)
As for the bible thumpers, here's something to say. Leviticus may have said that, but didn't he also say you should kill your children if they misbehave or kill your friends if they betray you? Something tells me that I wouldn't want to follow someone like that.
And as for the sacred union part: MARRIAGE NEVER STARTED AS A SACRED UNION! When it was first done, and for many many years after, it was about inheritance, political ties, and keeping the royal blood line clean. So there goes that argument.
I cannot stand people like that. They have their feet stuck so far up their @$$ that they think that everyone should follow their way of the world. I know how you feel.

Ace of Shadows In my mind, the whole "Let he who has not sinned throw the first stone" kind of outweighs all else. I mean, even if gay people are doomed for Hell it doesn't mean straight people have the right to persecute them, as that passage seems to say. After all, we're all sinners in one way or another. Sidenote: Exotic-muffin, I love your siggie. It's hilarious. xd Well, historians aren't really sure that story about the adulterous woman was even in the Bible, at least at the time that specific book was written sweatdrop It's not that I don't agree with you, I just wanted to make sure that a fellow homosexual supporter had their own ammo to fire.
