Okay, folks, we have to make this guild a place that everyone wants to come to. Not just another dead link in our bookmarks folder. That means, talk about stuff. What to talk about? I don't know. I see that there are several members here from other countries. I sometimes wonder what people from other countries really think about the United States but that could be a touchy subject. I consider myself a tolerant person but not everyone is and I wouldn't want to see any arguements. Maybe that subject is best left for when we know each other better. I think I will post a few inane topics to get the ball rolling.

I will make more topics as time goes by. We could make a general chi chat thread for people to say hello and tell about their day.

I think I will post a few inane topics to get the ball rolling. Good Idea. I will look forward to the country discussion. I enjoy learning about other places and how my own country is viewed by the rest of the world smile The key is to keep an open mind and a sense of humour smile

What about a current events topic? Not only can we incorporate what other countries think about the US, but we can also talk about things such as world oil prices, the japan/china conflict as well as the mideast, and other issues that we don't know are happening in foreign countries, as well as our own.
Also, what about a "Ten years ago" column where we write about things that we were doing ten years ago. Since I assume we all come from different backgrounds, it'd be nice to hear how people grew up, what they were in to, and how they became who they are now.

You should create topics for them!!
