Zahra & Melina cert here Quote: Quite a number seem to celebrate the end of the Year, but now we've reached the Spring Festival. It begins on a new moon and is typically 15 days long with the festival honoring deities and ancestors. During this time, you see families big and small coming together for reunion dinners, cleaning of their home to remove bad luck, lots of red decorations and other festivities. How do you choose to celebrate? Are you with family and friends? Are you solo? Perhaps you're not much of a Spring Festival kind of sort and don't celebrate at all. What do you think about the ongoing festivities whether or not you partake in them?

Sweet and serene - That's how Melina and Zahra are often described. Quite a lovely duo the two make what with Zahra's natural draw of nature seeing as butterflies loved to swarm her branch-like horns for those sweet, sweet flowers that grew from them.
But that was besides the point at paw here. Something far, far, far more exciting was springing up - The Spring Festival!
To see all the friends and families gathering up to celebrate had the serene Soquili feeling ever so elated and excited ! The upcoming season was of course her absolute favorite one out of all four of them. Summer being a close second in the running.
Having no friends or family aside from Melina and her nature buddies, Zahra found herself looking about to find someone to converse with. Someone to befriend during such a wonderful, festive time! And so she happily approached one.
A fine, winter-looking fella. Spring and Winter could be friend after all!
"Hello~" Came her polite, serene, voice.
"I hope you have room for someone to join you during these fine, fine festivities. I am Zahra and this~" A little nod to her familiar that rest atop a branch with the butterflies. "Is Melina."

Fannar had gotten kinda used to the cold of winter, so he wasn't sure how he felt about this spring festival, but the seasons came and went as it was nature. So he really had no other choice but to deal with it, he had no family to spend the holiday with, which didn't really bother him. He wasn't certain if he wanted a family to spend the holiday with he was used to being a single male. Still, it was a thing to think about when holidays like this came around. His solitude was interrupted by a very colorful being with a butterfly on their head. Clearly, they were born for this season, but they were a species he wasn't familiar with. He laughed a little when she asked if he had room to celebrate the season with another, and in a way, he could take that literally, or he could take it in an abstract way of thinking. He decided to just let it all go and go with the flow for the moment. "Nice to meet you both, I'm Fannar." He wasn't sure his little snowman or snow bunny counted as familiars, so he didn't introduce them. "I suppose I'm not too bothered to have some company today." He answered her original question. "Fannar~" A joyful repeat of his name as if testing out the sound of it. Upon hearing he did not mind company today, her smile grew all the more. Such a smile showed how elated she was to have found company with another Soquili yet still shone with her serene demeanor Her familiar gave an excited tweet as well. There was a small little wave of her tail now as se settled down onto the ground fully. Not too long after, her little deer friend prances over to join them after having wondered off to scour for a snack to eat. Though the little one saw Fannar and shyly hid against Zahra. "Oh fret not little one. He is safe ~" But all she got in reply was a shy little noise all while the little one hid even more against her as if that'd make them invisible! Now her attention turned back to the other Soquili. "Do you enjoy Spring as well?"Word count: 163 Total: 364

Fannar listened to her say his name, and she said it in rather a nice manner, and he was kinda pleased by that. He watched her reassure her family, and he nodded and said, "She is right, little ones, I will not hurt you." He made a face as he thought of her question, and then he said, "Honestly, I'm not sure how I feel about spring yet. I had just gotten used to the last harsh winter storm, and now it's warm again, so it's a bit jarring to me, if I'm being blunt, but nature does as she wills, so I'll just have to find the beauty in spring as I've seen the beauty in winter." He looked her over it seemed a silly question to ask her if she liked spring so instead he decided to take a different tack. "So what is your favorite thing about spring, Zahra? Perhaps you can teach me what all there is to love about the spring festival." Total: 383

All the little deer did in reply was peek out with one eye ever so bashfully before hiding their face again. Perhaps, soon enough, the little one would warm up to Fannar. For now, a stranger would be met with the little deer's shy demeanor. What a silly little one this was. Zahra gave a very gentle pet to the small one, staying very mindful of her paw size. Not to mention those claws of hers. Oh how she'd hate to harm the little deer she loved so. "The wild whims of nature. What a thing to have to adjust to each year, hmmm?" A giggle at that statement. "One moment we're adjusting to the cold, celebrating what that season has to offer - Then the next it's warming up! Snow is melting, the sun shines seemingly more and the plants begin to bloom. We adjust to all of that only for it to all end up tucked away once more under the blankets of cold snow for a nice little rest."The question caused her ears to perk excitedly! The tip of her long tail wiggled as such too! "Everything wakes up. Nature speaks more vibrantly, more lively. Spring ties into summer, then the drowsiness begins in fall. Winter is the napping period, but then spring let's everything wake right back up! And the cycle continues on and on. I find it wonderful and exciting - each season offers it's own excitement, yes. But Spring is when things spring up from their cold little rest~"Or so, that was how she liked to view it. Word count: 264 Total: 629

Fennar listened to Zahra describe the way nature worked, and he nodded, agreeing with her. The plants were nice, though, so there was that to the spring season. He laughed a bit as he watched her wiggle with excitement when he asked her the question. He had figured she would be pleased with his question, but it still amused him anyway. He nodded and then said, "The crisp scent of fall and the clean scent of winter are really nice." He thought a moment and then said, "The smells of spring can be overwhelming at times." He paused, "Each season has its beauty and hardships, I suppose, after all, the rain will fall in the spring since the plants need it so much." Total: 506

"The smells are wonderful! Oh, I simply adore when you can just smell the season in the air. Like after a fresh rainfall, or the crisp leaves that fell for fall."A gentle little pet to her little deer friend. Said little deer friend peeked up at Fannar now - Contemplating if they so wished to go say hello or not. Their owner seemed to enjoy this ones company, so he was safe! Right? "Hmmm... What part of the Spring Festival do you look forward to? Or rather, which part of it do you wish to learn about the most? It's all so wonderful and interesting to me, truth be told."Word count: 111 Total: 740
