xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
EARLY CHILDHOOD Persephone, along with her twin brother Archie, was born to Hespera and Castor Reed. They live in a property in Kent where Hespera breeds magical creatures, and Castor works as a herbalist. Persephone displayed signs of magic from an early age. On more than one occasion she made a dead flower grow by laughing. She tried on an occasion or two to use magic (which she had zero actual control over) to get at any grouchy neighbors but her mother was luckily able to thwart her, leading to long conversations about the Statute of Secrecy.
She had a good childhood, getting to see both of her parents’ work up close. When she and Archie weren’t doing homeschooling with their mother they were out exploring and learning whatever they could. She made friends with pretty much anyone she could get her hands on and would then present them to Archie who had been busy reading or whatever it was he did. Persephone had no real complaints about her life but was bursting when she received her Hogwarts letter. She was finally getting a new place to explore and hopefully a whole other batch of friends.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Persephone arrived at Hogwarts and was sorted into Hufflepuff. She loved everything about Hogwarts and was happy to get involved with everything. She joined several clubs and became Hufflepuff's new beater, much to her surprise.
■ SECOND YEAR Most of Persephone’s second year was spent engrossed in quidditch. After having a less-than-stellar performance in her first year, Persephone dedicated herself to practicing. Every time she had a spare moment she was practicing quidditch or just doing a lot of push-ups. She did better this season so it seems to have paid off at least a little.
■ THIRD YEAR Persephone was once again focused on quidditch and decided she was going to pursue it as a career, though she has plenty of time to work on that.
■ FOURTH YEARPersephone had a pretty good year. Everything went pretty well with quidditch, even though they didn't manage to secure the cup. However, things in the personal department were much more exciting to her. On a snowy day, Persephone helped "save" one of her classmates, Adi, from the grasp of the Scotland snow. After that, the two found themselves talking more and more. Nothing official has come from it, but Persephone has a good feeling about him.
■ FIFTH YEARPersephone's fifth year was pretty good for her. She had been made prefect, which she found herself enjoying. Then, at one of her first club meetings of the year, she was given a brand new broom. As if a broom weren't exciting enough, even more exciting was that it was a gift from Adi. She could hardly believe it. She found that they spent a lot of their free time together, and then at the end of the year ball, the two officially became a couple. She couldn't have been more excited and was more than ready to see where the next year would take them.
■ SIXTH YEARPersephone couldn't have been happier starting her sixth year. She had a boyfriend she was crazy about and quidditch team she'd been made Captain of. They unfortunately didn't do too great on the quidditch front, but she was proud of her team nonetheless. Maybe next year will be the year the Puff's finally get the cup after...many many years of waiting.
■ SEVENTH YEARPersephone's seventh year was pretty much wonderful. She became Head Girl, to her slight shock. Between that, quidditch, and studying, she was busy. Luckily, she didn't have too many classes for her final year. She had a great time putting things together for her Head Student duties and the quidditch season went great. So great, Hufflepuff came in first place. When Persephone realized they had actually won the Quidditch Cup, she cried—more than she is proud of. As if that weren't enough, she was also approached by a recruiter for the Holyhead Harpies and offered a position as better, along with a few other students. That had her crying again, but incredibly excited for the future.

xxxBACKSTORYxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
EARLY CHILDHOODArchie was born along with his twin sister Persephone. Archie was always the quieter of the pair. He and Persephone weren’t total opposites, but she definitely ended up with the extrovert gene in a way that he didn’t. He was a few steps behind her in terms of eagerness, but he was still happy to spend time with her. Especially when it came to exploration. Unlike Persephone, though, he was also perfectly happy to stay at home. There were days when she would run off and make new friends while he would stay behind and watch his father work. He found there was plenty he could learn just from staying close to his parents. Just like Persephone, he was beyond thrilled to receive his Hogwarts letter. To him, it was the beginning of a whole new chapter in his life.
SCHOOL YEARS ■ FIRST YEAR Archie was sorted into Hufflepuff along with Persephone. Though he would have been fine with wherever the sorting hat put him, he was glad he was able to be with his sister. Archie joined a few clubs and, following his sister's lead, tried out for the quidditch team, where he was made a reserve. He's plenty happy not to be actively playing quite yet.
■ SECOND YEAR Archie had a pretty quiet second year at Hogwarts. Most of his time was spent in the library studying or helping Persephone practice quidditch (he was still happily on reserve). He was more than happy to live his life from the background for a bit.
■ THIRD YEAR Archie was glad to be starting his third year, especially because that meant getting into electives. He, unsurprisingly, took an immediate liking to Care of Magical Creatures and, surprisingly, Wandlore Studies. Really, he was just glad for any opportunity to learn new things.
■ FOURTH YEAR Archie's fourth year was mostly just a blur of clubs and classes. Most of his free time outside of classes was spent studying, whether that was about said classes, or some completely random subjects. He found himself becoming strangely drawn to photography after reading a series of books on the subject. He didn't mind spending so much time by himself, though he ended the year with a mental note to try to be at least a little more social in the year to come.
■ FIFTH YEAR Just before Archie began his fifth year at school, he went on a shopping trip to Diagon Alley. He wasn't expecting anything more than collecting supplies for the upcoming year, but ended up meeting Temperance Summers. The two immediately hit it off and kept up correspondence once he headed back to school. Over winter break, he went to her father's shop in Diagon Alley to invite her to the Spring ball. The two also decided to make their relationship official.
■ SIXTH YEAR Archie did his best to take his sixth year as a time to relax in between testing years. He sent a whole lot of letters to Tempy throughout the school year since he didn't have much of a chance to see her while he was at Hogwarts. Persephone was busy with quidditch and prefect stuff, so Archie spent a good portion of his time chilling in the library and catching up on reading, as well as going on little photo hunts on Hogwarts' grounds.
■ SEVENTH YEAR Almost as soon as the year started, Archie was ready for it to be over. It wasn't that he disliked school or anything; he was just eager to start life as an adult. Plus, once he graduated, he would be able to spend a lot more time with Temperance. He spent most of the year focusing on NEWTs and classwork. Even though he didn't really need good grades for his chosen career, he wanted to graduate looking like he'd actually tried.
