They had gathered the portkey from the Ministry pretty easily and once Vikram had made sure Csuri was ready, they spoke the activation word and warped to Berlin. There was a lot of bustle at the Germany Ministry but Vikram led Csuri by hand to the entrance to the building. There he summoned a car to take them to their car rental place. Ever the one for fast cars, they had rented a Porsche for their drive from Berlin to Frankfurt. Thankfully Vik had spent the couple weeks from the end of school until their trip learning how to drive on the other side of the road, since on the continent, they drove on the right, rather than the left. He told Csuri to strap in and they headed out. Vikram, of course, learned all about his girlfriend's road rage as soon as they hit the Autobahn. It was entertaining to him at first when she yelled at people on the road, but several times he had to tell her to calm down. But speeding through the German countryside was fun and they blasted music to make the ride even more entertaining. He managed to get the car up to 240 kph on the road, which was exhilarating to him. At long last, they arrived in Frankfurt and their GPS directed them to the hotel, the Steigenberger Icon Frankfuter Hof.

Their hotel was a five star hotel inside an old Renaissance era castle. It has a Michelin rated restaurant in it as well as all the amenities you could ever ask for. Vikram pulled into the drive and up to the valet desk. Before they'd started the drive, Vikram had enlarged their luggage and tucked it into the trunk. Upon pulling into the drive, an attendant unloaded the bags from the trunk while someone opened both their doors for them. Getting out of the car, Vikram felt like a movie star on the red carpet. He walked around the car, then took Csuri's hand in his. "Come on Sur, let's get checked in," he said, leading them into the building. After notifying the desk of the reservation, they were handed their room keys and the pamphlet on VIP service, which included 24 hour room service and access to all the amenities. Then they were led up to their room, with the bellhop bringing up their luggage. At long last, they were alone in their room.

Sitting on the bed, Vikram laid back and stretched out for a moment, letting his tired muscles relax a little on the comfy mattress. Then he sat up and smiled at his girlfriend. "So, what are you wanting to do? It's only..." He checked his watch, then continued, "15:23 currently. The shopping district is nearby, or we can check out some of the amenities the hotel offers. This place has a built in spa, a French restaurant, a pool, and what I think will most intrigue you… a literary themed bar. Oh, and the drinking age here is sixteen, so we can drink, if you want." Vikram smirked, since he was well aware of the drinking age and was looking forward to knocking back a few on the trip. The best part was that he had his credit card with him and it had practically no limit. Vikram was hoping that Csuri would want to do a little shopping, since he wanted to splurge on her and get her some really nice gifts. The teen enjoyed seeing people light up when they got gifts and he especially wanted to make Csuri happy.

Vikram watched Csuri for a moment while she spoke, a happy grin on his face while he watched her. Despite what she seemed to think, she was very pretty and he was really glad that she came along. A little chuckle escaped from him when she said she liked to window shop, fully intending to purchase a bunch of things for her. "Oh no, I didn't forget anything from the packing list. But there might be things that strike our eyes that I just have to buy for you." He grinned and winked at her. As he got up from the bed, his stomach grumbled angrily and the taller teen looked down at it incredulously. "Hm, it has been a while since I've eaten anything. We should probably get lunch before we do a bunch of walking. Let's see..." Vikram made sure to lock their important possessions in the safe in the room, then checked to make sure he had his wallet and identification on him. Finally, he pulled out his cell phone and checked the map to see what kind of food was in the nearby areas. Scrolling around the map, he said, "Well, there's the French restaurant, but the Michelin star restaurant is more of a supper thing... Fast food, no thank you. But, hm, well, there's an Asian food restaurant called Zukaya attached to the hotel. It's been a while since I've had sushi. We could do that." Vik looked up from his phone to his girlfriend, wondering how she felt about sushi, and Asian food in particular. He knew she loved curry and she'd made enchiladas for him before too. Anything spicy, really... but they'd never had anything Asian before.
