Ventures
It's common for members of the Fallguard to band together on ventures outside of the pack lands. After all, you never know what news they'll bring back, and there could easily be someone in need of aid outside. The Fallguard prides itself not only as protectors, but as adventurers as well. That said, only one venture is ever going at one time, and only with a limited number of wolf dogs. To allow more than that is to allow their pack lands to become vulnerable.
In other words, think of this as a band of adventurers going on an quest. While there's never more than one or two bands out at a time IC, there is no limit OOC and as such, you can say your band is out on a venture at any point. During ventures, it's also common for pack members to fling with other wolves as it will help bring new blood into the pack.
Completed RPs set outside of the pack lands count as ventures, whether they are a SRP or PRP. Once you've completed 5 venture rps, your wolf is eligible to obtain the Brand of the Adventurer and the corresponding Adventurer's Gear pack item!
This item is exclusive to the Fallguard and can only be put onto the adult wolf dog lines. As a note, it cannot be stacked onto the same uncert as the Champion's Gear (see next post). If you're planning on getting both, you will have to get these items on separate uncerts.
The Brand of the Adventurer, meanwhile, is an IC title that your wolf can use and marks them as a veteran explorer. They will also gain a symbol (♫) next to their name on the pack members list to show they've got it.

Dueling
Duels are common practice around the Fallguard. They're usually meant in fun, but can sometimes be used as a way of proving one's valor. Tournaments are sometimes held as well, to help bring festivity and good cheer to the pack.
To win a duel, your opponent must be subdued by pinning them to the ground. You can utilize any method you'd like to do so, but killing and/or the use of outside help is forbidden. These are seen as cowardly to the Fallguard.
Duels can be completed anywhere, inside or outside the pack lands, and can be SRP or PRP so long as there are at least two characters in it. In a duel, each combatant will roll dice to determine the winner. This can be done either of two ways:
Method 1 Each player rolls 1 4-sided dice during the fight and then respond accordingly. This method is slower and will require each player to roll 3 times, no more and no less. However, it will allow you to rp with more suspense in each move. You won't know who will win until the end.
Method 2 Each player rolls 3 4-sided dice at the very beginning of the rp. This method will give you the outcome of the fight from the get-go, and you will then be free to do the rest of the rp however you so choose.
Regardless of which method you choose, the rules are as follows:
1. If you roll an even number, you manage to land a hit on your opponent.
2. If you roll an odd number, your attack misses.
3. The person with the highest number of hits at the end of the fight wins!
4. If it ends in a draw, you will both need to roll one more time. In this case, whoever gets the higher number roll will win.
i.e. If person A gets a 2 and person B gets a 3, person B will win the duel.
Once you've won 5 duel rps, your wolf is eligible to obtain the Brand of the Champion and the corresponding Champion's Gear pack item!

General Pack Roleplay
Of course, dueling and ventures are not the only roleplays one can do in the Fallguard. To help promote general pack rp, we also have a smaller pack item, the Fallguard Feather! To obtain this item, you must submit 5 RPs with your Fallguard character.
Notes:
- A rp can only be redeemed once for any of the pack items. Dueling and venture rps that are being redeemed for their respective items cannot be redeemed here as well. If you're planning on using a duel/venture rp to get the other pack items, don't post it for this one too.
- All other types of rps are eligible for this! This includes fishing season and fox season rps.
- A failed dueling rp (i.e. one where your character lost the fight) can be used here as well!
This item is exclusive to the Fallguard and can only be put onto the adult wolf dog lines. Unlike the first two though, it can be stacked with either the Champion's Gear or Adventurer's Gear.

Redeeming RPs for your Brand/Feather
If you've obtained all 5 of the necessary rps, you can post the following form to request the brand/pack item for your character!
Reminder:
- All of these rps need to be completed prior to submitting them.
- Ventures require you to rp outside the pack lands, but are otherwise open to whatever you want to do.
- However, for a duel to count, your character will need to have won. Failed duels cannot be counted towards the Brand of the Champion.
- All other rps (including failed duels, fishing season rps and fox season rps) will count as general rps that can be used for the Fallguard Feather.
- Rps can only be redeemed once per character in this thread, so don't accidentally use your venture/duel rp for the feather! (unless that's what you were planning, of course)
- That said, one rp can be used between different people, so long as their character played a part in the rp. So a duel rp can be used by both participants.
