XX▮-PERSONALITY XXXXX Nenomious is described as a laid-back, optimistic, jovial, and eccentric. Though he can show a deceptively cunning and serious side when the situation warrants it. Despite his care-free attitude, he always speaks politely, but is sometimes suggestive, likely as a means to tease others. Nenomious is very sympathetic toward everyone, and is also very good with children and animals. While he may seem to be a a naive slacker at times, he has a good heart and wants to help out anybody who has shown him kindness.
Nenomious is generally a loner and has reservations about groups, due to unpleasant experiences with people who sought him out only to exploit magical talent. Although he tends to be socially awkward and asocial, he does not actually dislike other people. Instead, he is fiercely independent and wary of others who approach him with ulterior motives. He is not above helping people who are really in need, and he appears to have a soft spot for younger mages. Nenomious always remains civil, patronizingly so, even in the face of hostility, and perhaps even to attract hostility.
In battle Nenomious preference is to concoct strategies based on deduction of his opponents' fighting abilities and style. As a strategist he is able to understand the strengths, weaknesses and mannerisms of his enemies and allies, and creates strategies to achieve victory. Weather due to his intellect or outright paranoia Nenomious has a talent for being well prepared. He takes many precautions before engaging in personal combat with an adversary, and usually has a contingency plan if something doesn't work out the way he expects.

XX▮-FIGHTING STYLE XXXXX His offensive spells generally do not do much damage compared to more combat focused mages, but they can be useful restricting or inhibiting their attacks. Nenomious’s offensive style is more centered around utility and he excels at using his magic to ensnare, immobilize, or to set up traps. Defensively his fighting style involves seeing and manipulating the "flow of power", using his magic to turn the opponent's attacks against them or disorient them. As a result, his defensive style relies on his delicate magic control and wearing his opponent down.
XX▮-OTHER SKILLS XXXXX [Master Escapist ] Nenomious‘s early life taught him the ways of survival and self-preservation, and has earned him notoriety for being able to evade seemingly inescapable situations. Weather it be escaping bondage, prisons, picking locks , ect.
[Strategic Mastermind] One of the greatest things to fear from Nenomious is immense intellect and strategic ability he possesses. Ever since he was a young child, he relied on his devious intelligence for survival, using anything present as an advantage as well as making instantaneous decisions based on variables given in a situation. Nenomious can elaborate complex plans/strategies and apply them not only in battle but all activities that involve cunning intellect, e.g. strategic games, calculations, ect. He can automatically analyze any environment or situation, and deduce the most optimal course of action, allowing him to make the most optimal decision in most cases as long as he can focus.
[ Vast Magical Knowledge ] Nenomious possesses a massive amount of knowledge about magic and its various types as a whole. This knowledge also extends to his understanding of the magic in questions basic workings; using his immense intellect Nenomious is able to essentially "dissect" the opposing magic, allowing him to counter them in the most advantageous ways possible with his own.
[Vast World Knowledge and Archeological Skill] Nenomious is also an exceptional archeologist, with a vast knowledge of history and cultures and shows great aptitude in academics and research. Outside of historic knowledge, Nenomious also possesses considerable knowledge of most of the major figures in the world, and has at least heard of well known guilds and groups of exceptional mages.
[Excellent cook] Nenomious has a strong respect toward food and the preparation of food in the kitchen. He is an expert cook, knowing and capable of preparing almost any kind of food or beverage with a strong sense to the aesthetics of cooking. xxxxx※ Distort Blade By manipulating air with their Reflector, the user can generate blades formed of air, which can be utilized as a ranged attack by sending them flying towards a target. The generated slicing waves can vary in size and numbers, ranging from ones a small as a few inches; to larger ones capable of leaving long slashes on massive opponents. By waving one of their hands diagonally before themselves, the user can also generate a much larger slash, which is strong enough to easily slice through several stone buildings, cutting them to pieces (C-S)
xxxxx※Distort Shield Before an incoming attack can reach them, the user twists it, distorting its trajectory and sending it elsewhere, thus remaining unscathed. The user can perform this spell without so much as a single movement, and, by affecting the area around their person, can flawlessly shield themselves from large barrages of fast-moving attacks, which can even be redirected to be sent back to the one who employed them. A master of this technique can even utilize it to reflexively distort incoming attacks while asleep. However, when the user is employing their refraction powers on the area surrounding them, they're incapable of using them elsewhere, and vice versa. Thus, when another area is being targeted, the user cannot properly shield themselves (C-S)
xxxxx※ Distortion Laser By refracting the light coming in through the users eyes and focusing on a single point, the user is capable of shooting out a powerful, destructive laser from both eyes that either: hits the target with great force pushing them away from the user at its basic level, penetrates the target leaving a small hole through it at intermediate rank, or sweeps across a target, leaving a series of massive explosions afterward at its highest rank. At C-Rank it is capable of knocking all but the most staunch defenders off of their feet or staggering them. At B-Rank, it is capable of penetrating most defenses such as stone or wood. The laser can penetrate metal is focused on for long enough as it heats up the metal to molten degrees and can cause it to melt. At A-Rank, the laser becomes much thicker in diameter and seems denser in scale as it is capable of cutting through materials with extremely high heat as well as generating a series of massive explosions in the laser's wake. At S-Rank, it is capable of utilizing all of the other properties at once. If used to its maximum limit, the users eyes become strained and he cannot use the technique again for another [2] Posts. If the user consecutively goes to the technique's maximum limit twice in a single fight, he becomes temporarily blinded for [2] posts. XX▮-BIOGRAPHY XXXXX Dark and brooding over his past experiences, Nenomious conceals many secrets. He speaks in a cryptic manner when he talks about his past, and never gives straightforward answers when questioned about it. Abandoned at a young age, he roamed the world alone with little to no knowledge of his family. People shunned him for the way that he looked, thinking that he belong to a very dangerous religious cult due to his features. One day a reclusive mage took him in, sympathetic to the young ones situation, and became a mentor to him. The mage was a cynical man armed with a dry, acerbic wit, a brutal honesty and enough internalised anger at the world that it only made his devotion to his work more admirable. He was perfectly comfortable with placing himself as well as Nenomious in danger if it meant appeasing his curiosity, often leaving his young apprentice out of the details in his plans, or using Nenomious to distract attention away from himself. His teacher preferred to be in the moment, where "everything is huge, everything is so important, every detail, every moment, every life clung to. He found it best to keep an open mind, unclouded by the opinions of others, favored the direct approach when he encountered an obstacle, and believed it was always best to assume and plan for the worst-case scenario. Despite coming across as uncaring, with a complete disregard for social niceties, he would fight to protect those in his student, and he would react with devastation if harm befell him.
Nenomious learned a lot from him as a student, and learned to use his intellect and tap into his inner strength. However, his teacher had many enemies, and was eventually assassinated. The very people his mentor had tried to help raided his castle and destroyed a large majority of his life's work, save that which he gave gave to Nenomious via his magic. The people he’d once protected labelled him as a villain and when Nenomious stood up for his teacher the people went after him as well. This was when the dormant power within Nenomious became unlocked; the over flow of emotions manifesting as immense magical power. When he finally calmed down and realized what he had done, he fled, and continued to flee until he was sure that he was safe. After this he subconsciously sealed away his memories brought on by the trauma.
It took years before he found his way back to society and began using his gift to help others. As he gained fame some people called him “The lonely traveler” , or “The mysterious one” sprouting all sorts of rumors and myths about him. As Nenomious reached his adolescent years, he simply became know as The Great Ethermask an infamous mage. Often in his adventures, he took it upon himself to foil dark mages and tyrannical nobles as well as stealing many valuable treasures in his youth. Nenomious has been responsible for feats no right minded individual would believe possible. While arrested and jailed on numerous occasions, he always managed to escape. He often investigates rumors and gossip for legends that might lead to rare items especially those of historical significance or magic items of note. He travels the world in search of new adventures and legendary treasure helping many along the way.
