Depending on the user's control of the power or genetic structure, the reactive effects can be permanent or temporary. For example, after a certain situation, the user's skin may become tougher. They may display increased IQ after a difficult test or fortified emotions after a personal argument. The user may be able to read different languages after moments of looking them up or be able to withstand a constant bombardment of radiation. Some users may develop Enhanced Speed after being shot, or grow Dermal Armor, or gain the opposite power of their opponent.
Dream Career: Ice Skater Figure Coach
Background: Born and raised in Japan, she began skating when she was 4. She lived down the street from an ice rink and her parents were too busy to care for her, so skating worked as baby-sitting at the same time. She was a National Gold Medalist at age 11 and held on to that title for 5 years. She began developing her powers from a young age, but never really noticed until she got into a car accident and her skin turned to metal to prevent injury. She was enrolled into Saint Sandorez so that she could ensure she doesn't activate it in weird situations (such as in competition).

Personality/Mannerism: The Defender personality type is quite unique, as many of their qualities defy the definition of their individual traits. Background: Xavier is Mexican, although many think he's American or half Mexican. His mother was born in Mexico to an American father, so that is where the American side comes from. He learned to teleport from a young age and used it to travel, taking pictures of nature along the way. He wants to work for National Geographic or a similar magazine/company and came to Saint Sandorez to master his powers and find a job.
Personality/Mannerism: Adventurer personalities are true artists, but not necessarily in the typical sense where they’re out painting happy little trees. Often enough though, they are perfectly capable of this. Rather, it’s that they use aesthetics, design and even their choices and actions to push the limits of social convention. Adventurers enjoy upsetting traditional expectations with experiments in beauty and behavior – chances are, they’ve expressed more than once the phrase “Don’t box me in!”

Background: Finn is a North Carolina youth and a pyrokinetic; a fire manipulator. It is a genetic trait he got from his mother's side of the family. Because she knew there was a tendency to becoming a pyromaniac, she raised him in tricks to master it before it got out of hand, well before he developed the power. When he did, he was able to control it and not cause damage to everything around him. His mother eventually got sick from leukemia and had to move to live with her own relatives in Delaware, leaving Finn with his father. In and out of prison, his father was not a good care-taker. He moved in with his aunt and uncle on his father's side, finding a love for cooking from his pastry chef uncle Jermaine. He enrolled into Saint Sandorez to fully come to terms with his powers, as he cannot use them around anyone else in his family and feels uneasy fully releasing it.

Personality/Mannerism: If anyone is to be found spontaneously breaking into song and dance, it is the Entertainer personality type. They started work at Saint Sandorez after a short period of time and she fell into the Music precinct. She is a beloved teacher and spends a lot of her time making sure that all of her students enjoy their time and learn from her classes.

Personality/Mannerism: Though it may not always seem like it, Entertainers know that it’s not all about them – they are observant, and very sensitive to others’ emotions. Background: Jenny may seem like someone destined to be a designer or a model, and she certainly possesses those skills, but she aspires to greater things. Growing up with her Ukrainian family, they were evacuated from the areas around Chernobyl after the disaster and those memories have lingered ever since then. Jenny was always longing to know how to stop disasters from happening, wanting to "bring them all happiness and luck". Her power certainly helps with that, so she has a great desire to be out in the world in areas hit the worst to give them what they don't have; compassion and help. She is a caring, giving person and just wants to be there for others.

Background: Born with a rare complication, he was only able to walk until he was seven years old. He grew up with crutches and wheelchairs, and has no memories of walking without them. He is a very strong person with his upper body, but many think he's a weakling because of his wheelchair. He grew up with a fascination for space and wanted to touch the surfaces of other planets, but he knows he might never be able to. He decided that helping others get there was good enough, and as such came to Saint Sandorez to develop those skills. He has good control of his powers, as it is a genetic trait on his mother's side, and therefore needs only the career path rather than abilities. He is an introverted soul who makes few friends, but those who can call him one have someone who is beyond loyal.
