This is a Sci-fi/Fantasy Adventure based story, so any character used can be from a science fiction or fantasy based background with a story of their own within this world. Characters can also arrive from another world/universe, either through an unknown incident that brought them here or through a secret recruiting office within their home world.
Against Division will have either a 1x1 or group RP topic with their own subtopics as floors for each faction, to avoid cross interaction with other groups of the opposite faction. However, the 1x1 and group topic will have at least one sub-topic dedicated to interacting with groups of the opposite faction.
Any character can be of different species, since all factions are able to open doors or gates to other universes.
It's optional to provide your character's reference, if you choose to list their reference it'll be used as a dossier for mission planning based scenes or it can be like a resume during the first few interviews.
A rank system might be implemented so newer recruits will start in a lower class, if you want your character to have an officer rank, details on their background will have to include their years of service within a faction.
Executive and Administrative ranks are currently restricted for use.
This story does have and will have an active warfare between all factions and almost every nation has or have been aligned with a faction. List of nations will follow soon.
