The school year is broken into two (2) Terms and two (2) major Breaks. Term 1 begins February 1st and goes until June 1st. Summer Break lasts from June 1st until July 31st. Term 2 resumes from August 1st until December 15th, being shorter than Term 1. This reasoning is because the second term is usually for the bulk of practical assessment for most units, or for units that are theory-based, this Term is used for Exam Blocks; singular weeks set aside for multiple assessment due in the same time frame. Winter Break lasts from December 16th through to January 31st. Students enrolling into a school year must use the Winter Break to submit their requirements as listed by the University itself.
