Seaki: It had taken Dabayl two weeks to decide to wander to the edges of the pride. She had been in the pride for a little while - not really long enough to establish herself very well, but long enough to find it her home. She was a simple farmer here - she grew herbs and flowers that she often traded to the merchants for raw materials when she was bores enough to make something or it. She would trade those things for more material sometimes, or to others for different things. She huffed a sigh and shifted her weight as she looked out into the distance. The edge of the pride had been a two days travel, but here she could find more plants to grow or even raw materials so she wouldn't have to trade anything for it. She was finally here, though, and she felt quite accomplished
nessiaing: Enikil had been travelling on and off for the last few days. Here and there no where special. The red maned lion began to wonder if he would ever find a place to settle down and feel like it was home. It didn't really bug him not having a place to call home, or at least he didn't think it did.
He gave his mane a shake to scare away the flies that seemed to be tagging along wih him currently. Perhaps he should find a stream to have a swim in. He was pretty sure he didn't stink but he wanted to get rid of these flies. The constant buzzing in his ear was too much.
Seaki: Fortunately for Enikil, Vaeringjar was steeped in lakes and rivers. Two rivers came from the mountains and flooded into lakes that made up much of the pride's lands. In fact, Dabayl was by a river, since it was quite hard to escape them despite not being near any of the lakes that took up the land. She sat near one, deciding to set up her camp here. She laid out some of her bags that she was carrying. They were empty for now, but she hoped to fill them before she returned home.
nessiaing: It wasn't long before Enikil came upon a river. Smiling he moved quickly towards the water, he would be rid of these damn flies if that was the last thing that he did. Without paying much attention for his surrounds, a frequent activity for him, as he was a large lion he didn't fear others. He picked up speed as he got closer to the water and with out a second thought he lept into the air and tucked his body as small as possible before the water engulf him.
He was under the water for a good while before he came back up his charcol and red mane hanging limp around his face. It felt so good, and there were no flies.
Seaki: Dabayl was still arranging her things at her camp site when she heard a loud splash sound. She whipped her head towards the noise, debating whether or not she should go investigate. She wasn't afraid of anything, really, and she was kind of curious if she was honest with herself.
The grey lioness hmmed, before moving down the the river bank to investigate the source of the noise. She couldn't see anything out of place, but that didn't mean much. She was about to turn away when suddenly!
A lion popped out of the river. "Aaaahh?" She said, slightly started, but not enough to make a huge racket over it.
nessiaing: Enikil grinned when he saw the female on the shore. "Sorry didn't mean to frighten you or intrude on your space" he told her sweetly. He moved towards the shore making sure to stay a little down shore from the female as not to frighten her.
He gave himself a quck shake feeling the extra moisture fly off his fur. "My name is Enikil." He told her. Once he was dry enough to be comfortable, he took a seat, "Is this your home?" he was happy to note there were no flies buzzing around his head.
Seaki: The grey female snorted a bit, somewhat amused. Just a lion then, nothing to be startled over. For a moment she thought Jormungandr had arose from the river, bit that was not so. "No worries," she told the other. "I am Dabayl. What brings you so close to my home?"

nessiaing: Enikil relaxed a little more seeing that the female was more at ease and even laughing. "The water. I was travelling for so long I needed a dip to clean off the dirt from travel." he told her honestly, though he left the bit about the flies out of his little story.
"Is your home as friendly as you are?" he asked her thinking perhaps he would be abe to spend the night in a secure pride it would likely lead to a better sleep for him.
Seaki: The grey female chuckled again. "It's a good look for you," she told him, amused. He was still dripping a little and she wasn't sure if hid mane was supposed to stick up that way or not. "Well, some are as friendly. Some are friendlier than even me," the always found that disbelieving! "But there are also those who are not. To each their own.".
nessiaing: Enikil smiled enjoying the females laughs. When she described the way different members of the pride could be he couldn't help but nod. It made sense really you should always expect a wide variety of souls in any location.
"I see, well I am glad that I came across you then instead of one of the less friendly members.:he told her. He gave his head another shake trying to expel the rest of the water that he could feel slowly dripping off him, it wasn't a great sensation. He wanted to stick around and spend time with the femlae but the sun was begining to dip in the sky and he had to find somewhere safe to sleep for the night.
"What would you say if I asked you to meet me hear again?" he asked hoping that he didn't sound as awkward as he felt.
Seaki: "I'll be around this area for a quite a while, " she told the male in lieu of an actual answer. It was the best she could give though as she wasn't quite sure she was going to stick around this area for long, nor did she know if the male would stick around and join the pride of anything l. Either way, she didn't quite mind. "You can visit me as much as you please."
