I think it's pretty much 50/50 - if not run a little more by the females; there just might be a lot of males that hide it, who knows~
But yeah, a lot more men are open to the yuri. ><

I like anime/manga.
and
I like boys.
There ya have it. It can be that there are more girl fans
because most guys either want the real thing, or like females.
Well, that's just my opinion,

....I don't think it's a genre solely for the females. I believe that the male population that does like it are pretty much in close balance to the female fanism. There are a lot of girls who claim to love and be obssessed over yaoi, but how many of them get the reality behind it....i don't think many do...but that goes to show that the males who do find it interesting are in close combat with the females. That is what I believe. Why does it have to be labeled as a genre mainly for females when there could be just as much males liking the genre?

Well, I think it's common sense. I mean, would you enjoy (meaning girls) two women making out? Yeah, same concept for men.

As a boy I have to say that yes I do like Yaoi. I like Manga/ANime, and I love boys... So shoot me. But it does seem like a lot more girls like it. I believe this is because guys tend to keep it to themselves more. I mean lesbians can be accepted by both genders but its different for guys. Guys are harder to become accepted because of being gay. They tend to make a scene and then pick on you and not want to be around you. So yes it seemed that alot of girls are fans, more so than boys. However, most boys are probably in the closet. XD Probably reading Gravitation Teehee.
