I'm looking at Purchasing Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment for the PS Vita via Digital Download,
But then I found this Article from IGN:
Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment to Get New English Translation on PlayStation 4

And While I have heard a lot of the Negative Feedback being based on the Poor Translation of the NA/EU releases of the game, I want a second Opinion.

Should I buy the Digital Download for the PS Vita?
Or
Should I buy a PS4 and wait for the Better Translated version?

I currently own a PS3 and a PS Vita.

I think it depends on how much you're willing to invest into it.

To get a new PS4 just to play a game which may or may not be good, is a questionable choice but if the quality is better than what you could get on the PS Vita and you're willing to dosh out the cash, then go for it.

Of course, you could always attempt to go the illegal route and get it for free, but it's a lot riskier, so tread with caution if you go that route.

I mean, the translation bits I saw screwed were the ones during "date" spots. Other then that, the story flowed alright. The voices were in Japanese, which I don't mind at all, though I also didn't dislike the English dub in the anime. I thought by new translation they meant they would English dub everything or something...
