I haven't been praying every night like I should be and I haven't read the Bible in awhile... I feel like God is telling me to get serious.

Please pray for me, I know I need to get back into doing these things instead of making excuses for not doing it. sweatdrop

You aren't the first to slip, nor will you be the last. I'll freely admit that I'm guilty of the same thing myself, but I have help -- here and here; the latter, I highly recommend as it has full blown prayers within the devotional.
