Ru had dispassionately watched the conversation evolve. His guard was still up, but it seemed things weren't going to turn into a slugfest just yet. His eyes began to wander towards the control panels. Wrecked and still spitting the occasional spark, this ship may not be going anywhere for a while. "Well, there may be some decent salvage in here for Til's ship... Perhaps I could use that as payment..." Ru mused as his eyes surveyed the room.

The air in the tiny room began to feel very heavy to the young detective, as clue upon clue of the situation was heaped up on one another.

"Oh...gosh..." she whispered, leaning against one of the walls with her arms hanging at her sides, grin absent for once from her face. So the mechanic had a gal, now the gal was here, but if he left with the gal he'd wind up inna heap'a trouble. Couldn't she stay here with him then?

"Heya, Lady? Can't ya stay with the grease-monkey here if it's gonna be that much'a hassle? And can we please get off the bad guy's space rocket...given me the heebies..." she asked, looking from the crystal guy to the fiance before shuddering slightly.

Solsi covered her mouth with her hand and stifled a gasp. Now wasn't the time to react, the time was to act. Still, her heart couldn't help but melt a little at the situation. Star crossed star people...it was enough to make her eyes water. Swallowing hard and choking back tears, she resolved now wasn't the time! "Mattie's right, we gotta blow this popsicle stand before more baddies dog pile us..." She looked back at the door protectively.

The counterpart swayed & chuckled darkly.
"Yeah, I-I guess we should continue this con-conversation else...where..." he said slowly. Arron's body was quickly reverted to normal. Lyth had run out of energy.

Traley hurried over to catch the mechanic's hulking form as he fell unconscious. Despite looking very distraught she was going to help anyway she could.

Ru warily watched Traley/Ann whoever she said she was catch the mechanic as he fell. His other hand not leaving his revolver, he pulled a communicator from a gear pouch on his belt. He spoke into it straightforward and calm. "The ship that landed, good for parts and reclamation. Not the blue one, The other one. yes. ...Perhaps some better armaments, fuel lines, navigation is shot though..." He trailed off, so far the rescue had been a success. Parts for his trouble and the rescue seemed to have gone well. He would stay with the mechanic and his friends for a while yet. Ru was not one to leave a wounded man to bleed.

"Gah! Sparkly grease-monkey down!" Mattie cried as the change happened quickly in front of her. Pushing herself off the wall she took up the mechanic's other side, lopsided grin flashing over to his fiance in encouragement. "Don't worry yourself Ma'am, he's got his friends and you here now. Nothin' bad's gonna happen to him anymore!" the goofy detective told her cheerily as she helped 'Ann' walk Arron out of the cramped and sparking room.

"Lyth just always knows how to put everyone at ease, does't he?" Minty smiled at 'Ann', "Don't worry, we'll get off this ship and get all the information before anyone goes off endangering anyone else. It'll all work out."

"Now, grab hold of your mechanics, finish up your looting, tie your shoelaces and let's get out of here!" Minty spun on a heel and started exiting the ship the way she'd come in. She wasn't looking for a fight and she didn't think the trick she'd used outside with the guard would work twice, it was time to go.

"Alright... Thank you all for your help. Also... just call me Traley." said Traley starting to move with Mattie's help, "Is there a hospital nearby?" As she said that, an alarm went off, followed the sound of another ship landing nearby. A message popped up on one of the cracked monitor's of the console The characters were foreign & hard to make out from the cracked glass, but it made the space pirate turn pale.

"Oh look. Friends." sarcasm dripped off her voice like syrup on Saturday morning pancakes. Minty scooped up the gangly mechanic's feet and rested them on her shoulders, hoping to make the unwieldy Arron a little more wieldy between herself, the newly dubbed Traley, and Mattie, "Ramming speed, ladies, seems like we've got a mystery date to get to. I hope they brought flowers."

Briskly walking to the exit, Minty only slowed a little reaching the door of the ship. She peered cautiously past the exit, hoping the group would have a clear run to at least the tree line - from there it was just a quick jaunt to Barton where they could re-group and figure out what to do with Arron and Lyth's little information bomb.

They didn't need to tell her twice! Letting Minty take the lead, followed by Mattie and Traley carrying Arron, Solsi placed herself in the very back of the group where she could keep an eye on her friends and watch out for signs of ambush. She kept her wand fixed in her hand, counting the moments until she could feel the fresh air again. Once they were free of the enemy lair their odds of escape would increase significantly.
