Midterms. Dirge didn't know what they were nor what the entailed exactly, but the atmosphere of the more elite and veteran students ranged from very lazy to sheer panic. Dirge, being the massive kitten that he was, erred on the side of not worrying about it. He'd do fine, he was sure, or at least pass.
So, not worrying about the upcoming tests, Dirge found himself chilling in a tree and yawning very loudly. The boil wasn't even tired, just a massive pile of boredom and definitely not worrying about anything. His tail twitched, ears flicking in every which way. "Ughhhhh." His groan was loud, whiny. What could he do, what could he do?
---
An hour later, Dirge was in the Monster dorms with two massive sized bags of chips in tow, along with a small brigade of sodas (all carried by his faithful nimbus cloud, of course.) He knocked on a familiar door, tapping his foot as he waited for her to reply.

Unlike Dirge, Drona was very aware of what midterms meant. Because school wasn't just a status symbol for her they actually had her a bit stressed. Studying was mandatory, and she was so wrapped up in it she hadn't exactly been prepared for a visitor.
The door swung open to reveal her in old torn leggings and an over-sized tshirt that was so stretched thin that the collar hung off her shoulder. Her bangs had been pinned back in an overly complicated mess of pins. She squinted at Dirge and his mountain of food. "Shouldn't you be studying?"

DIrge gave the tree ghoul a shrug, golden eyes quickly flitting around her appearance. This was... different. "Um, probably...? You seem pretty stressed about it." His brow was raised, shoulders set. Dirge did not bring snacks just to be accused. "Are they really that important?"
