14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Until they accept Christ, they won't be able to see how Jesus fulfilled the prophetic elements of the law, psalms, and of course prophets. The only thing they'll be able to see right now is "religious differences". Thus, resorting to intellectual arguments about politics and racism. I'm 16 minutes into the video and I'm noticing: they don't bother addressing what their holy texts say. Culture/traditions of men, not what God commanded or intended to say, is their focus. Their examples, which they keep resorting to, expose this: for instance, they won't find Rosh HaShanah in the written Torah; YHWH called the day we blow the shofar as the "Day of Trumpets" (Yom Teruah). And Rosh HaShanah, which means "Head of the Year" (and in reality is the Day of Trumpets that they're celebrating), and which they're trying to pass off as the New Year, is not actually the New Year according to YHWH; Day of trumpets takes place in the seventh month of the year (not first month).

Which month did YHWH establish as the first month of the year? The month of the passover (Exodus 12:1-11), in the spring:

12 Adonai spoke to Moshe and Aharon in the land of Egypt; he said, 2 “You are to begin your calendar with this month; it will be the first month of the year for you. 3 Speak to all the assembly of Isra’el and say, ‘On the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb or kid for his family, one per household — 4 except that if the household is too small for a whole lamb or kid, then he and his next-door neighbor should share one, dividing it in proportion to the number of people eating it. 5 Your animal must be without defect, a male in its first year, and you may choose it from either the sheep or the goats.
6 “‘You are to keep it until the fourteenth day of the month, and then the entire assembly of the community of Isra’el will slaughter it at dusk. 7 They are to take some of the blood and smear it on the two sides and top of the door-frame at the entrance of the house in which they eat it. 8 That night, they are to eat the meat, roasted in the fire; they are to eat it with matzah and maror. 9 Don’t eat it raw or boiled, but roasted in the fire, with its head, the lower parts of its legs and its inner organs. 10 Let nothing of it remain till morning; if any of it does remain, burn it up completely.

...so, the new year, according to God, happens in spring, not autumn/fall (ergo, the new year, according to God, takes place nowhere near when the Day of Trumpets / Rosh HaShanah takes place). They've got it so backwards. Watching them prioritize their traditions over God's commands is so annoying. burning_eyes
On a similar note, I don't understand why they have a "civil" calendar in the first place. How is that allowed?

It's not just their sect of Judaism either; many Christian sects are changing set times and laws by how they go about practicing certain commands. It's totally deviated.
Sigh~ and now, I will finish watching the video, lol. I'm so happy that Brickner & Mohler are able to respond with grace and not let the flesh get offended, even when they get interrupted like that. May God continue to bless Jews for Jesus, and everyone who comes to accept Jesus as messiah. heart
