So Tuesday I took the 1 hour glucose tolerance test and I failed it. Between that and having the high fluid levels it's pretty much guaranteed that I have gestational diabetes. But they wanted to schedule me to do the 3 hour test tomorrow.
Only I totally forgot that they were going to call me. Phone was in the car all day.
The 3 hour test you have to fast 8 hours BEFORE the test. Then you drink this nasty drink and then they draw blood from you every hour for 3 hours.
I'm going to be so upset if I end up fasting for so long for no reason.

The most annoying thing about the 3 hour test is knowing I'm taking it (whenever I do HOPEFULLY tomorrow) and I already have GD. If I wasn't sure it would be one thing. But ugh.
But they want me to take it to see where my sugar levels are so we can figure out a diet. Obviously I still have to meet the amount of calories I need but I need to cut carbs and...ugh. Eating is a chore now.
