Minty Andee
That's great! What's it about so far? So far, it is based in a setting where an experiment gone wrong over 200 years ago has kicked humans off the top of the food chain. the only real safe places for humans are in a few protected cities, with most methods of communication and technological development severely limited due to the new top of the food chains and interference from radioactive areas that are now about thanks to initial attempts to nuke the problem away.
The only sure way to get deliveries and messages to each of the cities is to have someone deliver it by hand, and there are now messenger and delivery teams that specialize in that. Adam is a third generation deliverer, and works with a team to escort large shipments from one city to another. During downtime, he sometimes freelances, which is what he does one day when he accidentally crashes his bike, and finds what looks like a metal door partially open in the ground. What comes out of it is a girl, who is just as shocked to see him as he is to see her. The girl, Emma, is from a civilization that has lived underground for over 200 years, having evacuated to safety domes prior to the nuclear launch, and thought that the area above ground was completely unlivable. While they would love the clear this up, the door she came out of shuts, sealing from the outside. So, Adam is now stuck trying to get this girl home, while trying to figure out just what is going on.
From there, he's going to discover some interesting things, both secrets from the politicians living in the domes, and some previously unknown stuff about his people living above ground. It gets him knee deep in a 200 year old scandal, political corruption, and a whole mess more that is going to either bring two worlds together, or tear at least one of them apart.
