Disguised Physical Description
More often than not, the heartless will assume this form, even in battle. The very pale, thin man stands close to seven feet tall, with straight, raven black hair that reaches down to his shoulders. With an ever-present grin, hooked noes, and wide eyes, he looks as if he is pleasantly surprised at everything he sees. He has long thin limbs, and boney fingers. More often than not, he wears the coat and pants of a black business suit that seems two sizes too big on him. He also wears a casual white T-shirt under the suit.
Heartless Physical Description
A form that the heartless rarely assumes unless forced to. The heartless's skin is raven black, mimicking the color of his shoulder length hair. His size and shape remain relatively the same size, other than his more sharper, pointed features. With wide, unblinking eyes, a very pointed hooked noes, and a very wide smile that shows off his sharp teeth, he can be easily compared to the last maniac you saw... if any. It's hard to determine how long or short his limbs are, as they seem to change in length constantly. His hands end in clawed fingers, which he seems to move with a high level of dexterity, and his feet end in a squiggle, much like a genie's shoe. His clothing isn't affected when he discards his disguise, and retains any damage or lack of damage. It should also be noted that he does occasionally twitch violently at times, though this doesn't seem to help or hinder him in battle.

Any direct hit will tear his disguise, revealing black, heartless skin underneath. This lasts only a few seconds before the disguise is reforms. A heartless mark is present on his lower back, directly between and behind his lowest pair of ribs.
Personality:
Without anything to draw out his annoyance, he's a generally happy person, who loves his keyblade "Irony" above all else. His natural instinct to hunt for hearts seems to have been dulled, and his submissiveness towards stronger heartless seems nonexistent. He is easily tempted into anything, but dislikes even the mention of Kingdom Hearts.
Heartless Abilities
Heartless Body
No matter how devastating an attack, Vos appears to take no damage to his true self. Any wound seems to close immediately, no blood is ever spilled, and even dismembered limbs seem to reform without any effort. Though this may make a few question whether he is actually taking damage, an experienced fighter may recognize what this is. The heartless is so in touch with the darkness of his heart that the heart itself provides the darkness necessary to reform the body. This also means that each strike hits the heart directly. The moment the darkness in the heart is removed, the heartless ceases to exist, and the heart is released. While any weapon is able to deal enough damage to release the heart, Keyblades are the most effective by far.
Heartless Summon/Control
Vol retains the ability to summon heartless and order them around. With a wave of his hand, he is able to call fourth ten shadows and five soldiers in front of him. Unfortunately, "Irony" identifies him as a keyblade wielder, and because of this, the soldiers often turn against him. Shadows, however, seem to go passive near him, and will obey any order given to them.
Arm Extention/Recall
Any part of Vos's arm can be extended and pulled back for a quick, striking or grabbing attack even at range. Though the limits of how far his arms can extend haven't been tested, the attack is only effective for about ten feet before even a child could dodge it. The extended arms seem to hold no weight to Vos, and still delivers a strike capable of cracking stone with no noticeable damage towards his arms. Though they extend and retract quickly, a quick person may be able to grab them and keep them from retracting.
Heartless Weakpoint
Though Vol can be damaged just about anywhere, one spot hurts him much more than any other spot. A single spot, right between his lower ribs and opposite of his heartless mark, concentrates and maintains his heartless form. Though slashing at it does hurt him, a single, powerful thrust to that spot will disrupt the flow of darkness from his heart. Vol will be unable to move for a split second, likely enough for the opponent to get an extra slash in, before the darkness in him surges, firing him backwards. The speed at which he is thrown back is enough to send him through thin, or cracked walls with ease, and with nothing to stop him, he will fly about eight feet and roll another three feet. Judging from his reaction, this is the most painful thing that can be done to him.

False Keyblade "Irony"
Weapon Discription
The solid black blade looks remarkably similar to an actual keyblade, with only a few differances. The handle is grooved for use in the right hand, with the guard closely covering the knuckles. The blade is relatively straight, with a sharp bend here and there. The tip ends in a curve, which curves towards the opposite direction of the guard. This gives it the look of a lock pick rather than a key. The chain connected to the guard is just that.
Weapon abilities
Heart Thief
When this weapon slays anything with a heart, the weapon takes the heart for itself rather than releasing it. This allows the weapon to maintain its strength against an actual keyblade or other, similar weapons. When in danger, it may take a heart directly from its wielder.
Heart Breaker
When under a great deal of stress, such as an overly strong attack or a barrage of attacks it can not handle, the blade may momentarily lose its hold on the hearts it's taken. Though the blade regains its hold relatively fast, one heart always escapes its hold. Vos affectionately named this ability himself, due to the feeling of loss that the blade gives off.
Keyblade Aura
This false keyblade is indistinguishable from an actual keyblade, according to other heartless's. Even a full on heartless will be attacked by other heartless when wielding this blade. The sole exception seem to be the shadows, though the reason really isn't clear.
Battle Style:
Will attack at range while moving towards the opponent. Prefers to fight up close to make full use of "Irony"

Other arrogant people, Nobodies (The group), and locked chests, any mention of Kingdom Hearts.
History/bio:
Vol was once the strongest heartless of a very small world. Within a matter of days, the world was taken over and consumed by darkness. Though it is known that Vol obtained his "Keyblade" from this world, and that the heartless turned on him because of that, little more is known due to the worlds quick destruction. What is known is that Vol was able to leave before the destruction of the world... and that's it really. Vol would likely know more, if he cared to share it.
