      Seth unlocked the door of the shop and walked inside. It was still a bit unreal, in a good way. He had applied to the manager job for the pet shop, since he knew a lot about animals already, and with a few tests of his animal knowledge they had decided to try it out. The magi had been given the key and codes right then. As he also turned off the alarm, he put away his bag in the staff room and then immediately got to it. Being a manager meant he had a lot of responsibilities and he would do his utmost best. Eager to start, he picked up a notepad and turned it on before he started to go through the stocks. He checked the animals they still had, the food stock and other supplies. Seth would do this regularly from now on.

      Since it was early no one was here yet so he took his time to walk around, get to know what animals they had and make note of what they needed done other than the usual tasks. After a few hours he was done with the checklist and had a shopping list ready for supply they needed to replenish so he could do that later in the morning. Once he placed down the list at the computer he would be working on in the staff area, Seth walked back into the store and started with cleaning duties. It had to be done as well and he didn’t mind. It allowed him to work hands-on with the animals in the store. Well, those you could touch. Animals like fish and some pets that didn’t really like being handled he would leave be and just do the caretaking duties. The young man also made sure to refresh the water of those that needed fresh water and filled up food as he went.
