Tis the season for horror movies and all that, so I'm gonna stream a few of my favorites on Saturday, October 11! The stream will likely start around 7 PM PDT, and will be held here.

The movies I stream will be kinda dependant on what I can find at the video store, but here's a few of the ones I'm thinking about. Please note that most of these are rated R, and are for the most part pretty bloody.

May
Manos: The Hands of Fate (probably the MST3K version, or maybe Rifftrax if I can find the DVD)
Repo! The Genetic Opera (not really horror, but there's blood and gore~)
The Final

Very few people showed up, so I'm wondering...

Should we use guild announcements to get the word out about streams? I haven't been making many announcements because I don't want to annoy people, and I don't want to get too much in the habit of using the announcement feature for every little thing.

Secondly, I did receive some feedback from other people who didn't want to attend because of how bloody and gory most of these movies are. If I do another movie night this month, I'll be using different movies that aren't as graphically violent.

Everyone has their own tastes when it comes to movies and such. Myself, I love pretty much anything Halloween or Horror related including the blood and gore. I do, however, understand that others may not be into as much as myself.
Wonder if you could do something like the drive in movie theaters used to do? Which was show a friendlier movie(s) first then show the scarier movie(s) later type of thing?

I'm not too picky about Guild announcements. For me, it does help me keep up with what's going on and to remember to check in every so often vs. just sending out anon gifts and donating gold and forgetting to post anything or seeing what's up with everyone. sweatdrop
Especially, now that I have a little less time to be on here even when I'm on here. I just got a puppy for my birthday and he keeps me super busy!
