Watched the solar eclipse with my family and coworkers the other day. While it's not 100% totality coverage, at least it's 90% (or more) with clear skies and warm weather over here. We're not all that big on those "once in a lifetime" type of events, but just experiencing something interesting with people you know on a mundane Monday is nice.

There's a mourning dove sitting on her nest just outside my bedroom window. I've been watching it nesting on 2 eggs for the past few days. Hope all will be well as the trees regain its spring leaves.

Manage to grab a handful of ripe strawberries from my backyard the past couple days. They're on the small side, but that's on me for not trimming back the abundance of flowers during early spring. It's very sweet and very sour at the same time.
I do dread the upcoming maintenance of cutting off runners for the rest of the year since I have more than enough strawberry plants.

I created a third Discord community for a Roblox game. It's reached 800 members, and finally at least 5% want to play forum games with me.

OMG yes! I love to heard kids laugh! Actually, joy in any age is delightful. I had the most interesting experience. I was sitting in the bathroom, feeling sick, and from two rooms away I heard my father laugh. All of a sudden the sick feeling left and I was fine! Laughter really is the best medicine!

Working in a grocery store really have it's own perks (despite not getting a special discount for being an employee, lol). You'll come across all sorts of good deals once word gets around.
- Empire apple going for 58cents a pound (when the cheapest price for apples in general is regularly 99cents a pound). - Spiral cut ham 50% off due to its best buy date, which I paid just under $3 for a whole chunk a lunka. - Grassfed/grassfinished beef tenderloin for $8 per pound, which you can get the filet mignon steak cuts from. Also nearing its best by date. - Organic strawberries, 99cents per container. Received a huge shipment of those so we needed to get rid of them asap due to their short shelf life.
I smile when the elderly tell me how happy/grateful they are to come across such deals. I can only wish that they can live comfortably for the rest of their life. My grandmother did, and she have her children/grandchildren caring for her to the very last moment.

I'm currently enjoying the few red Tulips that bloomed in my front yard. Such vibrant reds! Especially in the sun! There's mostly yellow Tulips and orange/yellow combination for the majority of the patch in the backyard, although not bad either. Good food for the bees (along with Dandelions).
My Apple and Cherry trees' early flower buds have bloomed too. Though I have seen more leafy greens on the cherry tree than flower buds, I'll cross my fingers for more flowers later. We're still in that transition between winter to early Spring phase here in zone 6b.
