The thing we should remember most is that it is a personal relationship with God that gets us through whatever we go through. There are times when we find our minds racing with to many thoughts and we allow ourselves to get upset and dwell on things that we really have no control over. It is then we need to step back and pray. We need to reconnect with God as fast as we can to calm our minds and our hearts.
Never distance yourself from God. Never think that He doesn't hear you. He is right there with you every minute of every day. Even a silent prayer is heard by Him. That is how wonderful and powerful He is. Always tell yourself that He is your God. He loves you and He is the power behind your daily life. It is when you think of Him as in heaven, up there somewhere that you create a distance in your mind. Make sure you keep God in a personal relationship with you.
