Hello, today I would like to discuss, a topic which is negative and disliked by many; upon which, is about revoking a role.
As you may or may not be aware of..Quote: "If 60 days have passed, and a Guild Captain is inactive, the revoking pannel comes under Guild Options, in which many of you - especially the crew members are familiar with. I do not believe this is stealing - however many of you will take this in a different matter. According to the TOS, it is against the rules to "steal" a guild, however, if the Captain is inactive, and if she is automatically put as Vice Captain for the time being until she is active, how is that stealing?
THIS, my friend, is what I would like to discuss about. Not whether if the Guild Captain should be revoked or not - but what YOU think and whether or not you disagree or agree. And please explain why. Don't put repetitive statements and PLEASE be literate. For our sake. This is a debate. So also be kind.
Thank you for reading, Sincerely,
Caimbrie.
EDIT: Ack, you might want to move this thread > . >;; Sorry for making yet another silly mistake. Its turned into a habit to post in the wrong sub forums for me.

It does make sense to have it, actually. Especially when it comes to large guilds like this one we're in, and the captain doesn't give anybody a heads up about his or her absence. If they get demoted to vice, it's not like they've completely fallen out of power anyway. But there's also the need to have a vote or discussion about having to take this as an action in the first place, due to the ability people have to abuse what power they may have. And yeah, it happens. I went through it a few years ago, though not through these circumstances.
I'm more against making hella changes to a place without notifying the captain or without the captain's consent, actually. But in terms of the captain's actual lack of presence, then actually having the VC or the rest of the crew taking over may be for the better if they could manage to keep everything up and running.
And about moving the thread, I actually have no idea where it goes anymore.

Thank you for saying so. And ah, yes, it goes under chatterbox. Its a debate - a discussion in other words, all threads under the chatterbox are discussions, no? This isn't the real thing, its not happening, so it cannot go under an announcement subforum. So please move it for me. I have to agree with you though. However, the other crew members will certainly have different opinions.

If I may be so blunt, Does it really matter?
(I ask in advance that no one be offended by this) I mean the guild is pretty much basic discussions, contests, and people chatting and being friendly. Would we really need to dethrone the person who started the guild for any of the V.C.s, who already have practically the same powers as the captain, to grow a pair and take charge of things? If so, I feel our Vices have some issues.
