Nia Phoenix -AvalonChristopher- I like Fullmetal Alchemist. I used to watch the first one...not brotherhood. It got confusing, and I quit watching it XD I have no idea what happens. I am not motivated enough to finish it. Brotherhood has a really exciting conclusion - you should give it another try! They're both good - and yes there are differences, but in some ways brotherhood resolves questions a lot better - try it again! have to disagree here. Full metal Alchemist had an Exciting Conclusion Brotherhood took forever to end (something like 16 episodes!) Quote: Code Geass is one of my ultimate favorites - totally bittersweet! Silight warning in that the last few episodes take a major shift in premise.

Nia Phoenix A friend just got me to watch Sword Art Online. i loooved it! Similar premise to .hack but much more involved...and makes more sense in some ways. That's kinda true...though I still prefer .Hack, myself. Have you seen/heard of a series call Accel World?

Hey for me with anime - the longer it lasts the better - and they were also bringing several different factions together to meet at the final battle Quote: Code Geass is one of my ultimate favorites - totally bittersweet! No - i haven't...another to add to my list of 1,000,000 animes I have to see LOL, Honestly most of what I've seen are the CN dubs, tho I have followed some recommendations and been thoroughly impressed. What's it about?

I have heard that Brotherhood is better than the first one... 3nodding I liked it, but I didn't love it, it's just...I don't know. It's just such a long on-going anime, haha, I want to give it another shot, eventually. It would take me months to finish it though XD So I haven't been that motivated to start watching it again. I don't even know where I stopped on the last one .___. Somewhere in the middle... I just want to watch the last few episodes to see if they ever get their bodies back or whatever.

What's it about? I know that feeling... That use to be my case...mostly due to my own stubbornness. Short summary: Haruyuki "Haru" Arita is a short, fat boy who has low-self esteem due to constant bullying. To escape the torment of real life, he logs in to the school's virtual world network where he plays squash alone and always gets the highest score. One day, Haru attracts the attention of the Student Council Vice-President "Kuroyukihime" who offers him Brain Burst, a secret program which allows a person to make time appear to stand still in their surroundings by "accelerating" their brainwaves in the real world.

I'd have to say that while in my early days of anime watching I literally only watched shounen, I've come to really enjoy both comedy and slice of life genres.
I used to think Fullmetal Alchemist was the best thing ever, then I started to branch out with my interests. When I got around to watching Brotherhood I thought it was a masterpiece at first, although in hindsight I'd say I preferred the original series for its slower pace.
My favourite anime is definitely Gintama, I just believe it has the perfect mix of comedy and drama and never really falters after the opening episodes.
Ehh as for anime I've got an emotional attachment to, only really Gintama, it's easy to get attached to all of the characters after 260 episodes... :3
Other anime I love are Welcome to the NHK, Nabari and Texhnolyze. I'm pretty open with my anime interests really, haha. Only ecchi series I've watched is Sora no Otoshimono, which was great.
I guess that's it. (-:

When I got around to watching Brotherhood I thought it was a masterpiece at first, although in hindsight I'd say I preferred the original series for its slower pace. I can relate in the beginning, as well as the comedy and slice of life genres. I can also agree with the preferences to the original FMA over Brotherhood. My reasoning is mostly because it's slow paced and actually gives time to grow attachments to the characters. Whereas Brotherhood seems to miss out on that.
