Also getting a new GPU. Hopefully this will fix my rig else I'll have to get a new board and that will really piss me off. I should have both components in a couple days.

It is 5PM on the scheduled date of arrival. Where the hell is the mailman?

LOL no it's a vital component to a typical PC (Random Access Memory). Without it, the computer can't operate. At the moment, my desktop is completely dead and that mailman needs to HURRY UP! Almost 6 already.

And guess what? I got my parts, stuck them in, and then all of a sudden my com isn't powering up. After a few diagnostics and troubleshooting, I determined the problem was the power supply. Opening it up, a couple capacitors burst and leaked acid all over the internals of my PSU and basically killed it. This seems like an ongoing issue and not one that just randomly presented itself in the last few days. It was probably going bad for months, if not years (which would explain my possibly incorrect thought of bad RAM). So now I have to order a new PSU that will come in some time next week. So much waiting >.<
