Torturer
People think they know what torture is, they don’t. Very few do and I mean very few. Torture is when I get shackles with metal thorns on the inside of them put around my wrist and ankles. Blood runs out of old sores and new wounds. Whip marks and more score my body. They want to hear me scream in pain. But I won’t scream, not anymore. There is fire in my eyes and a deadly sound in my throat. He has me chained, I want him dead. He will die before I do.
In this poem the monster is expressing the torment he has suffered threw and how it affected him at first and caused him pain and disappear. At first it had placed a great toll on him but as time past by it didn’t affect him as much and all that pain and anger turned into something dark. He wanted revenge on those who had caused him harm.
