Ironically, I'm more busy now that it is summer. 8D

On paper, I'm working at the local publishing place 20hrs a week.

In reality, I was probably there about 35 hours last week and was there from 8AM to at least 4PM, if not 5PM, every day this week except Monday.

8D Because breaks are silly!

Now I need to get about 50 pages of proofreading done. 8D
Gonna turn on some TV, probably something I've seen 5 billion times so that I don't get distracted, get some caffeine, and wooooork.

Good thing is that the book is interesting at least. It's a book about Larry Butler's life (LB was Johnny Cash's producer. He was also the producer that made Kenny Rogers a famous country star.) and how his life has taught him various tips to make it in the music industry. The stories in it are pretty amusing, so that's always good since I have no interest in going into the music industry.

Boooooks.

At least your job doesn't seem to be too dull at the moment? (I would be such a bad proofreader if the book was any good)

My life is being fairly busy at the moment as well. I'm preparing to move in about 2 months, so I am trying to get rid of as much stuff as possible, and trying to figure out how much stuff I can cram into 2 suitcases and 2 carry-ons.

Trying to get rid of stuff is harder than graduating, I swear. The last couple weeks of school, all it was for me was sitting there and looking pretty (or reading or drawing. Take your pick)

i've got a week to go, then i'm on my month and a bit long winter break before i go back for my final semester.

so much ******** work to do. i’ve already handed in a final folio, have one more to go, a book to finish writing, put together and bind (myself, because i don't trust officeworks), a blog to maintain/update, a big arse essay on media industries and two hectic spanish exams to complete by wednesday, so naturally, i'm on here, lurking. i haven’t even made a dent in my pile and it is saturday..

that book sounds like it would be pretty dang interesting. i would get so distracted by the stories that i wouldn't pick up on errors at all. i love stories about the music industry, seeing as that's where i want to end up and a fair few of my friends are managers/event coordinators/musicians/booking agents/etc.

Well, I had to do a content read through and a grammar read through, so you aren't as interested the second time through it. xD

@Annai
I'm technically moving in August. But it's just down the road like 10 minutes. But then I'm moving out of there in December once I graduate. Lol. I'm going to go minimalistic from Aug.-Dec. because of the whole getting rid of stuff.

You can always donate a bunch of crap. Or ship it to yourself?

@Ghetto
Go you. o:
I graduate in December.

Good luck with that. I remember wanting to like stab myself the last two weeks of school. I ended up writing my 10 page paper within two days or so, finishing at like 4a.m. the day it was due and getting up at 7 a.m. to proofread and edit it.

But what book do you have to do? Is it like an book of your art/music/writing/something?

He has (had, technically) some really great stories. He freakin' got baptized in the Jordan River with Johnny Cash by his side. And he was a pretty ballsy dude, so some of his stories are pretty amusing.

haha, yeah, i get to do it all over again next semester (i'm so bad at time management, it's sad) and then i graduate! BOO YAH!

fuuuuck, that's crazy man. how many words is that. my brain can't even comprehend that, haha.
i can't do all nighters, might have to now though, they upped our late submission demerits to 5% P/D instead of 2%.

i just did one book of my poetry s**t, and now i put my hand up to put together one for a group project (i'[m a formatting control freak, so its kind of my own fault, haha).
it's a documentary treatment, so everything that goes into the lead up of creating a doco (creative research, interviews, etc.) / before filming.

that. is. amazing. dang, some music industry people have crazy stories. went to a summit last year and the manager for jane's addiction and porno for pyros was there, he was just a ******** t**t though. your dude it way more impressive, haha.

Not moving far away is nice. I'm trying to donate as much as possible. The reason I'm trying to get rid of a lot is the shipping costs are going to be expensive. And trying to fit as much as possible into suitcases is I won't be able to ship most of it to myself for at least a year.

Woah, wait, he was baptized with Johnny Cash? Jordon River is cool enough, but add Johnny Cash to it? Amazing!
