Gay bar

What if we made a gay bar in the roleplay section? Those tend to be very popular and I think it's be a fun way to talk to people. It doesn't have to be literate or anything. Just a casual walk-in bar. What do you guys think?

That sounds like it would be a great, cute and casual RP and I like the idea.

But I would also like to point out that if its an RP then it won't really work as a way to get to know people (at least, not very well). After all, how well can you get to know someone if you're both playing parts instead of being yourselves?

Ah, this is true, this is true. I tend to be myself in casual rp's but this isn't true for everyone. I still think it'd be cool and a way to enjoy ourselves. Dancing, drinks, and the like. 3nodding

Well, we can pretend to be ourselves in a bar. Granted, some of us may have never been in a bar, but it's not a huge stretch. As for me...

*sits down at the bar and signals the bartender*

Can I get an IPA? THX!!!

"I'll take a gin and ginger-ale on the rocks with a twist of lemon." I call to the non-descript NPC bartender. Then, turning to Your Sinful Desire ask, "So, you come here often?"

*slams the beer and hits the dance floor*

*stares bemusedly at the guy on the dance floor* "Does he know the band hasn't started playing yet?"
