Roulin nodded as a gesture of agreement. Overseas, the cars looked much better, but Roulin doubted that they were sturdier than that Fords that lined the neighborhood streets. The pertinence of that subject soon faded as Roulin pulled into the building's parking lot. The cars behind him blared their horns due his lack of signaling beforehand. He parked although crookedly in the in the handicap zone and watched Aimee zoom across the street. After standing from the car, he cringed as the cars missed her small frame only by inches at a time. Taking a safer route, Roulin simply bounded over the cars and even waved at the people down below. He kept close to Aimee and entered the elevator behind her. Noticing her hands which clenched and unclenched as the elevator's bell, he said softly to her, "If he's not up there, we'll keep searching alright? All day if we have to."

Aimee pressed the fifth floor button and watched the elevator doors closed. She looked down at her hands and seemed to space out. Soon enough the teenager looked at Roulin, her eyes calm but extremely hurt. "I don't want to lose another father..." After that, her eyes went to the door that was just about to open. The red head took in a deep breath and walked out of the elevator once the doors were open wide enough. The hallway was soon traversed by the worried girl followed by her worried friend. Aimee walked into her father's office, seeing the tall man who she was looking for. "Dad!" She went to hug him, feeling the warmth of his embrace. "Dad, our house. It was torn apart." Aimee let go and watched as a smirk formed over her foster father's face, which ultimately made her back up a little.
"Of course it was. What would you think would happen to a man who took in an O.W.L.? Specially one that could live forever, not to mention cure any disease known to man." The one who Aimee called father shifted appearance, becoming the dread hooded man who attacked them so long ago. "Well now that I know your weakness. It's time for you to go." The smirk of the hooded man widened as the two secretaries outside of the door grabbed Roulin and Aimee both.
Aimee stood horrified, looking at the man she had called father for so many years. "Why? Leave him a lone! It's me you want, not him." The red head squirmed, looking back at her best friend. "Rou..."
"Oh no, I want him too. His power is something I would love to further indulge into. As for why, how do you think we got all that money? O.W.L. testing my darling daughter. Oh and thank you for this wonderful present that holds all the secrets you little brats keep from adults." Holding up Aimee's journal, the man began to laugh as he waved his hand for the two kids to be taken away.

Roulin features lit up when they entered the office room to find Aimee's father standing there calmly and somewhat expectantly. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary and it only drove Roulin to think that he'd missed the assault on his home narrowly. It would explain why only his phone was left behind as well as his keys. His hands fell into his pockets and he sighed a thankful sigh whilst Aimee walked up to the man and hugged him. Keeping close watch though, Roulin noticed a slight change in the air. The man's grin wasn't one of joy, but rather one of sinister success. As the young woman stepped away fearfully, the inquiring Owl took a step forward.
"Just when I thought I wouldn't have to get serious..." The bushy haired boy was stopped in his tracks instantly by the secretaries Aimee's father sicked on them for restraint. Worst fears were confirmed as the man went on about his plans. The shapeshifter was back. He'd never truly left. This angered Roulin and seeing the man taunt his friend only cause his latent rage to fluster. To break free, he stomped the foot of the secretary holding him, threw his head back and busted the man's nose. Thanks to his brother, he was well versed in a street style of combat. After taking him out, he took aim at the woman secretary holding Aimee and with his finger he fired a bullet or rather a telekinetic pulse at her shoulder. The joint was dislocated and Aimee was all but freed. The woman's other arm still remained connected to the red head's shoulder.

Aimee took the woman's hand, twisting it behind her back and pushing her into the hooded man. She back up and turned, taking Roulin's hand. "Come on. We need to get out of here." The girl ran down the hallway to the stairs, the quicker way that the slow elevator that was now on floor fourteen according to the digital elevator number on the wall. Running down the stairs, Aimee's brain had no time to process what had happened, all she was worried about was getting out of there a live. If he knew their secrets, he knew how to stop her and him both, which frightened her more than what will happen now that they had no where to run. Once they reached the first floor Aimee saw an exit door, taking it to the outside world. "We can't go home. What can we do?" The little girl began to freak out, staring at Roulin. "He will be chasing us everywhere we go..."
