How much does she make an hour, can I support her for making less than minimum wage or is she doing alright and mad that someone had the audacity to give her money? Sure it had a nasty message, but at least he had the semblance of courtesy to leave a tip.

Smoking Gun says it's a hoax. Once that gets around, people are going to use it to worsen the situation of people the hoax was probably trying to help.

However, as a former waiter.
I always tip.
