Hi I just bought an item in one of the shops but when I went to my inventory it was not there the shop took my money but I did not get the item. I assume it must be a glitch. Is there some where I can go ask for the item or at least get my Gaia cash back? Any help would be appreciated

Well that was a nasty glitch. I would send a bug report to gaia by using the contact us section of the site. You can access it at the very bottom of the gaia pages. The little blue types.

Was it an equip item? If it wasn't, you'll need to go to your inventory and click the tab that says All. This will get you to everything in your inventory. Then, scroll down and see if it's there. It will most likely be at the end if it was recently bought.

and click on #, it should shows you your most recent received/bought items as top of the list from your inventory. if it's not there

if it's really that unfortunate then file a report (where to file it? the correct url link please?). then PM to a mod or admin
