Dark and Stormy Story

It was a dark and stormy night at the old broken down house when suddenly, a knock sounded at the door. The group of teenagers who had been playing some fun games all jumped, for they had been expecting no one.


What happens next! Keep this going by replying with a sentence or a paragraph, it's up to you! Just make sure that it is at least a sentence long.

"Who could it be?" said Andie, the daughter of the owners of the house. She looks at the clock. "My parents shouldn't be home for another few hours."
"Did you order pizza?" Her friend Tommy asked. She always thought he was kinda cute in his own way.
"No I didn't."

"Well, instead of just sitting here and wondering, I am going to answer it." Simone stated, rolling her eyes. She stood up and started for the door.

"Wait! What if it's like that story?" Mark asked.

Everyone turned to look at him as the knocking sounded again.

"What story?" Andie asked

"The one about the The Stranger at the Door." Mark replied then explained what he ment.

A young boy and his sister were watching television one evening. Their parents had gone out for the night and wouldn't be home until the next day. Before they left, the mother instructed the children not to open the door for anyone. The children agreed that they would not, under any circumstances, open the door for anyone. Their parents also told them, if they needed help with anything, to call the neighbor's house.

An hour later, the children heard a knock at the door, but didn't pay any attention to it. They remembered that their parents had instructed them not to open the door for anyone. So the children ignored the knocks and continued to watch television. Eventually, the children went to bed. However, the knocking continued.

The young boy became curious about the knocking, and got out of bed to see who was making all the noise. His sister lay in bed waiting for her brother to come back. When he didn't return, she started to worry. Eventually, she got out of bed and made her way to her neighbor's house as quickly as she could. Luckily, the neighbors were awake. The young girl explained what had happened, and her neighbors quickly called the police. When the police arrived, they searched the girl's house. In the doorway, they found her brother's body and a bloody knife.

All the friends shuddered in fear of the remembrance of the story.

" I doubt that is actually what is going on." Simone said trying to hide her fear.

"But what if it is?" Mark said.

"Psh no way." Simone got up and started walking to the door.

"Wait Simone!" Tommy said. "Don't!"
