Asylum. It’s a strange place to be locked up in. It’s mostly for people who can’t handle the outside world. Their mind works differntly from others. Voices speak to them, people who believe that ending their life would solve everything. Some people even think they’re faires, or even pirates. Lucky for the company, patients come in and are released every month. But, in some cases, some people are sent there because the world can’t handle them.
Kathryn, a.k.a. Kat, was sent to the Asylum on behalf of she was different. Somehow, she was born with the gift of sight. At first, people thought she was just like any other psychic; people who have done their research and/or make up things that happen to make sense. Kat, however, proved to be different. Not only could she see select future but select past. A vision that helped her solved a 50 year old crime. A crime that occurred before she was born. After that she helped solve several other murders, but her gift became too much. The chief never really did explain why but he sent her away. Only the two of them really knew.
Two years later, a detective is hot on a case. A serial killer he’s been trying to catch for years. He’s so close he can hardly sleep. But one night he over hears other officers talking about Kat. A girl with a special gift in solving crimes. The detective grew desperate and realized he had to give her a shot. It was the last thing he could resort to. But neither he nor Kat could predict what was about to become part of their future. Each other.
This is their story.
