Sony announced a way for UMD owners to play PSP games on their vita.
How it works is like this.
Download a program on your PSP Put the UMD in your PSP Let it find a digital copy of it Pay and Download
YEAH... you have to REBUY the game. It's at a discount price of 500-1500 yen ($5-$20).
Around 200 titles will be available at launch.
Personally I'm not happy. Why should people have to rebuy a game when they have to prove they already own it?

The way I see is keep your PSP and have a Vita. Problem solved and money saved.

The problem is they both get bulky, however I agree, it will be the easier and cheaper solution.
I do think its crap that you have to re-purchase the product, even at a discount. I guess its better then nothing but damn...
