Nov 5th-6th was the Montreal Companion Animals Expo. Cowboy and I did a freestyle show both days. Sadly that's all we did this year, was playing it safe on account of his arthritis. However I did get to walk around a lot, I took lots of pictures, got lots of freebies, and bought lots of stuff. I had three photographers come volunteer their cams. So there should be some great shots. I took a few myself as well.
Shall I start you off with some Cowboy shots?
His routine went pretty well. On Sunday, while waiting for them to add up points, I decided to show off to the crowd a bit. Think my dad missed that when he filmed. But Cowboy was definitely a crowd favorite. I didn't even stick around to see how we placed. I know I missed my multiples so I'm sure I was second. It was so much more fun now that we have our title, to just show off and not worry about rules and points. People there don't care about your catch percentage, they don't care how you threw the frisbee. I just love performing. I'd be very interested in a career doing dog shows. But since I meet all these people at comps, for the time being I'm focusing on that so I can hopefully impress them when we compete against each other.

After the show we did a short photo shoot.
I spent a long time at the rat booth. They had some really gorgeous hammocks. Normally I don't spend money on things I can make myself. But these were really nice and only 10 bucks and no tax on anything at the expo plus everything was going at like 20-30% off. They had Oxbow food at 4 bucks off and no taxes but I ran out of money. I got the girls this hammock. I actually wasn't THAT fond of the pattern, I had my heart set on this yellow monkey pattern but I figured they already have flat and tube hammocks, but they would really love this pouch one.
Actually, they're still unsure of it, cause there's only two clips, it's not very stable. It swings a bit when they get in and out. I'm going to try to use clips to hook it up so it hangs a lil lower at least.
Also got them a toy at 8 bucks. This mesmorized them for all of 10mins and they haven't touched it much since. Sunday I bought them cat grass. The picture deceived me, I thought it came with earth but it's actually seeds and gravel. So I need to sift out the gravel and put some earth in there. Then I will try my best to wait till christmas to give them this present. It says it takes 4 days to grow. My friend bought them a wood "bird cabob". And I got like a dozen dental chews that will make great chew toys for them.
I did my best not to spend much money on the cat and dog since I sell that sort of stuff at my store and can get 20% off. My friend bought Cowboy a giant Teddy though. I got a toy for each of her birds.
This is all the free stuff I picked up that will make for good stocking stuffers. (Giving away the ProPlan)

K, ORIGINALLY I was just gona wear the leggings for the show, and I threw the shorts over to sort of cover my a** till then. But my mom shows up and the first thing she asks is what the heck am I wearing, and when I explain to her my outfit plan, the black leggings with the black police shirt, she's like, ugh, no, just wear what you have now. So ya, that's my explanation for my style on Sunday lol
