Nature's Variety just posted this on facebook and I needed to share.

www.askariel.com/

First let me say that I was GOING to pick up the holistic blend glucosamine today but it finally friggin sold! So I couldn't get it, not even sure when and if they're ordering more cause supplements are not big sellers, they had to put a whole lot on sale this summer cause the expirations were coming.

So I check this website out and it looks pretty awesome! They have packages for certain afflictions. Like the kidney package which has one supplement containing enzymes for easy protein digestion. The omega 3's SOUND molecularly distilled it says they guarantee it to be free of mercury and it's highly concentrated. The glucosamine suppliment has green lipped mussles. It all looks so good! I'm seriously considering it.

It just occurred to me though. Should I be bothering with glucosamine supplements if I'm giving adequan? Aren't they basically the same thing?

I'm looking at the amazing omega's right now. There seems to be a typo though it says ingredients:
and then lists none. I just wana make sure it's purely fish sourced because they're other supplement, which is mollecularly distilled, has borage and flax oil. Which I think is fine for skin support and such but I want the highest conversion and flax omega's tend to not get used by the body as efficiently as fish.

Here is the response I got about their product "Amazing Omega's"

"Thanks so much for contacting us. Yes, the Amazing Omegas is from sardine and anchovy oil and is molecularly distilled so that the chemicals and impurities have been removed. The oil is also reconstituted to natural triglyceride form. What this means is that the Amazing Omegas is highly bioavailable and thus pets can utilize the product much more efficiently and effectively with much less. One teaspoon of Amazing Omegas will start helping a pet's coat whereas a few tablespoons of salmon oil may not even have an impact. This is a much more therapeutic oil than typical pet oils which is why the product is also sold at the VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital as well."

It's the only molecularly distilled fish oil I have found that can be shipped to Canada, but, I need to check if the $10 priority shipping will work for me or if I have to pay the $50 international fee. I don't care how fast it comes, I just don't want to pay $50 in shipping for a $25 product.

Just to update yall. I was able to find a LOCAL product of seemingly very good quality. Ascenta . It doesn't state it on their website but it IS molecularly distilled and it's in it's natural triglyceride form for better absorption. It's sold in a glass bottle, so no chemical contamination. AND to top it all off, I got it for 20% off even though my store doesn't carry it, my friend's human health store does. (YAY) So probably Cowboy AND Rascal will be going on that. But the concentration for cat and dog is almost the same so I'll just buy the bigger dog bottle for both of them. It's only available in 200ml sadly but Cowboy can probably get 2.5ml/day for now and Rascal 1.25ml/day. So a $20 bottle SHOULD last me almost 2 months for both of them. That's a pretty good deal. I'm quite pleased with my find.
