ive got one tough dog. she is constantly running into the corners of my glass coffee table, falling on the wooden steps outside on the deck, running into the fence and shed from time to time, and just normal bumping into things. all these things and not even a yelp, she doesnt even slow down

oh gawd, I hope you don't have a Cowboy on your hands. That can get expensive lol. In all seriousness have you considered getting her eyes checked? Or is she just super zoomy? Reminds me of my parents story of having my hearing checked and the doctors said I have great hearing I just wasn't listening

Dexter is like that and his eyes are fine.
Just half an hour ago he ran his face into the corner of the coffee table. I know that one had to hurt, I even had to check in his mouth to make sure he wasn't bleeding, and he thinks its just a game when I have to check him like that.

My brother's dog, Roxy, is like that. She just doesn't watch or wait. One day when she was over we had the screen and glass doors (patio doors) closed and she was in and wanted out. I opened the glass door and she bolted out; knocked the screen right out of the frame and I nearly fell on my face she was in that big a rush.
Zoe also has a tendancy to not watch where she's going so well (more focussed on where she's going or where people/dogs are than objects that might get in her way), resulting in her long snout getting bumped on corners sometimes.

I had an 11 month old Chocolate Lab that would run full force head-on into walls, bounce off, and not even batt an eye lash. The same dog, we would come home, and she'd be chilling on top of our shed. She wouldn't jump down to the out side of the fence to come see us, but jump back down into the fence and wait for us to go in the back yard and say hi. rolleyes

Rushie had a good one a while back; she hit the edge of the brick retaining wall with one knee at full speed as she went past it. Should've heard the noise- a really loud crack. She screamed and pulled up and I thought for certain she had broken it. Stood there for 10 minutes with her leg held in the air and then went on as though nothing had happened.
She has also run into trees, other dogs and into the back of my legs- twice. Getting your legs knocked out from under you by a speeding hound and landing flat on your back really hurts. And I know there is nothing wrong with her eyesight- she's just careless. And has a horrible sense of humour. Why else would she then proceed to jump all over me after knocking me over?
I just hope she doesn't hit a ditch or a fencepost.
