when my mother was alive she got 2 birds, a tiel and an sun conure. we loved the birds and gave them lots of attention. after she died we were all pretty sad and didnt let the birds out to play nearly as much as we should have so they started getting aggressive and that just made us not want to play with them even more. years went by of us just caring for the birds and not giving them the sociol interaction they needed, i was the only one who would take them out for a little bit every once in a while and i was the onl one cleaning their cages. well its been a year since i moved out so my dad and sister have had to do all the work for them. now my dad is finally willing to rehome the birds and he found someone who might be willing to adopt them from us even though they arent that people friendly anymore. i dont want to meet the person because im embaressed i let the birds do so poorly and im sure they must think im an animal abuser because of it, and i feel he would be right in this case.
but im very happy that these 2 will finally start getting the love and attention they deserve. just wanted to give you guys an update on them. im so happy i could finally convince my dad to rehome them

Once when I was fostering this glider, she was in BAD shape. I wanted people to come over, those who were interested in her, to start bonding with her, but I hated the idea that they might think I was OKAY with her behavior and condition. I had to get over it, though, for her sake. If it makes you feel more comfortable, just refer to yourself as the birds foster home.
