Well we went to the vet today. Piper is a he sad but oh well. He earned the nickname "Little s**t with a 666 on his forehead" from my vet. He got his first shot, and earmite treatment. He's only 1.4 pounds so not quite big enough for dewormer yet. My mom is demanding he be declawed :< I'm super pissed about it. Help me please??????

She's all "Oh he'll heal, and I don't want him to scratch Annabelle when they eventually get into a scrap and I don't want my furniture fu_ked up." which is total bfs (********). She brought it up to the vet tech (whom we've known for YEARS, at least 10) and she said "Yeah I felt the same way and I went to get something from behind the couch and it was totally torn up. $100 to get it reupholstered. It's better to just snip 'em off."
See I KNOW that it would mess Piper up BIG TIME. He uses his claws for almost everything. He uses them to get people's attention (climbing their pants a little), for getting onto the couch (he can jump most of the way, he just needs a little grip), he'd probably reject the litter box too knowing him.
