Seems like thats the question of the day! No one seems to mentor nowadays. I suppose all the experienced artists have grown too old and left gaia. But we should be able to work around that, we're all capable young gentlemen and ladies. I hope that the Captain and Crew are still active and not given up.
What does it take to become a mentor? What do they put the Mentee through? How can we as those seeking help, learn to help others? Would it be possible to have weekly challenges for the guild members? Like drawing weekly based themes. Or like in other guilds where there's a thread dedicated to drawing the avi above yours. Just little things to help this awesome guild return to its former glory.

We're just really damn busy trying to improve our own art and you know, keep a roof over our heads.
I'll be available again when I can be. Right now I'm just going through too much. I do come in when I can and critique the sketchbooks.

Seems like most of the mentors are occupied trying to get a job and those kind.
I might become a mentor, but I don't think anyone will take a kid seriously.

Haha for me it's more like where's the mentees?
I get mentees asking me to take them in, but then I don't hear from
them for weeks at a time. Makes me forget that I'm a mentor. XD

I think, pretty much what Errol said...
I'm in my last year of school right now and I have to try to make a film too u.u I don't check Gaia a lot. But if someone seeks me out to ask a specific question I don't turn anyone down. (though I don't check messages a lot so the answer doesn't always come swiftly...)
