So this is interesting. Apparently everyone has been receiving an item called "Sacred Key" one for each year you've had your account. The description says its supposed to unlock a "great quest". Wonder what they're for? Anybody have any ideas?

No idea quite what it's for. Seems like it could be really neat, but I'm skeptical. They might turn it into a cash shop type event.

I actually really like the alchemy thing, there are just ways that I think it could have been done better.

I like the idea of alchemy, but the current system is ******** ridiculous. razz If the keys are for alchemy, I'm not interested.

I gave up on the gaia extras a long time ago. They shoulda stopped at guilds.

Now, weren't these very keys used to unlock the treasure chests that appeared near and around the Aquariums? I mean, since then, I haven't seen hide nor hair of those chests. Logically, if these keys were used for those before....

These aren't the same keys. The other ones were purchased from the Cash Shop and were called luck keys.
I have a lucky chest floating at the top of my screen as I type this, actually.

That's weird. I used to find one every day floating above my aquarium, and ever since receiving the sacred keys I haven't.
