Do pets go to heaven when they die?

I don't think that's something we can know for sure. I've heard it said that heaven is a place of perfect happiness, so loved pets must be there. In all honesty, I feel like this is a poor understanding of heaven. When we're in heaven, we will be in the presence of a Holy God, our father, savior, redeemer king. Heaven is about HIM not us. We will have perfect joy in him; so much that I honestly don't think anyone will care about pets that they used to own.

I agree with Phantom Jutsu. Also, if we take a look at Genesis 2, it says that there is only 1 type of creature who is a living soul, and that is man. Nowhere in the Bible that I could find that there is another creature who is a living soul, who is not man.
Also, if I am reading in Daniel and Ezekiel correctly, I believe that it is possible we may have new creatures in Heaven. We see the 4 beasts, who are the guardians of God's throne. And they are completely out of our comprehension. But it is just a little theory of mine. But I agree that we wouldn't focus if the animals would go to Heaven because we would focus solely on the Lord.

While I agree that we will be focused on our heavenly Father, there are animals in heaven, so I find it a comfort to think our pets will be there.
I just recently lost two of my pets and I like to think they are in heaven with the rest of my loved ones.

Not one of us could tell you for sure, but once Paul had a vision of animals being brought down from Heaven, so that could mean there are animals in Heaven. Also, many animals did not rebel against God like humans did, so they may not even have sin to separate them from God. I can't be sure though.

Two of my cats have been poisoned and one has already died the other is dieing. My cockatiel died the day before my first cat died. Her name was Charlie and she was 15 years old. My cat's name was Socks. He was an outside cat that stayed near my house. I can't believe someone could be so mean. Now my other cat, Cricket, is near death. I was truly hoping he would pull through but he has taken a turn down hill.

biggrin He had trouble pronouncing some things, but he definitely has a point. It's good to be sure of that. I don't, however, believe that it's wrong to eat meat. I think that God discourages but permits it. He gave the Israelites quails to eat when they got tired of manna, and Jesus gave fish for people to eat.
